Just a short drive away is The Brecon Beacons National Park (Bannau Brycheiniog) this stunning national park offers many outdoor activities. There are many parklands with walking trails including Craig y Nos, Dinefwr Park and the National Botanical Gardens of Wales.

The internationally recognised Dan yr Ogof Caves are a 15 minutes drive away. The location offers the opportunity to visit the Gower Peninsula with its stunning beaches. Swansea has a fantastic beach with a 6 mile promenade from the Marina to the bustling village of Mumbles with its ice cream parlours and cafes. On route you will pass Swansea University set in the beautiful Singleton Park and gardens. On a rainy day, why not visit Swansea’s Indoor Market and sample the local delicacies - cockles, laverbread, a bakestone or freshly baked Welsh cakes
