”Love this hotel. The room and restaurant are amazing. So modern and replaxing. The views are incredible. The staff are really good and the food is spot on. If they have a free room I’m staying in it.”

”My first stay. Having moved house and travelled two hours, I was stressed and exhausted. Check in was a little slow but the apology was accepted. The room was a long walk from reception, I was pleasantly surprised with the layout. The bathroom was extremely small, I had a hot shower and got into nice white sheets. The TV was pixilated, very poor signal, the remote wouldnt work. I was too exhausted to bother with it, but tried again in the morning. The tv would not turn on. Further...

”Although a lovely hotel which I have used a few times in the past, and staff are helpful and friendly, the property and room interiors are in need of renovation. The window paint is flaking off, the curtain hooks coming off so that curtains hang irregularly and the carpets becoming threadbare. I think current owners are trying to sell so maybe that is why no attention is being given to these details right now.”

”Room was ok, outdated but clean otherwise. The bathroom floor tiles and caulking were stained and felt dirty. Shower pressure was amazing, they had dove shampoo, conditioner and soap which was a nice surprise. Breakfast had warm dishes (eggs, bacon, hash brown, beans), coffee, juices, cereals and muffins, croissants and pancakes. I wouldn't stay here longer since the amenities were quite poor but for one night stay (passing through Swindon) this was totally fine and staff that we encountered...

”Lovely country pub, beautifully & tastefully updated, short/ simple but great menu at mid pricing. Very friendly staff just a bit slow/ distracted at checkin and not much information on breakfast etc or local places to go. Room a little dated , was originally nicely done up 15 years ago, but now some stained grout and broken sink in bathroom, and wallpaper/ lamps need a makeover. ”Most of the staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fine and staff good. Unfortunately restaurant closes a little early and they stop taking orders 15 mins prior. We arrived at the restaurant 25 mins prior to closing and was behind another guest. The manager told us to wait as he would be right back but only came back 10 mins later to tell us that we would need to go eat elsewhere as the restaurant was closing.
