Huono palvelu ja uhkaavaa käytöstä
Hotellia varattaessa hotels.comin kautta merkitsin täpän kohtaan "maksetaan paikan päällä", tästä huolimatta visa-korttiltani oli otettu veloitus ennen kirjautumistani. Hotellilla myös vaadittiin koko summan maksua etukäteen. Asiakaspalvelijana oli elämään kyllästyneen oloinen herrasmies, jonka kuvauksesta voi sanan herras jättää pois. Kyseenalaistin veloituksen sillä tarkoituksenani oli maksaa huone käteisellä eikä visakorttini käytöstä maksuvälineenä ollut mitään puhetta. Pyysin tiskin takana olevaa miestä soittamaan esimiehelleen jotta ongelmatilanne saadaan ratkottua. Sovimme managerin kanssa että jäämme hotelliin yhdeksi yöksi ja etsimme toisen hotellin, varauksemme purettiin. Tiskin takana ollut mies suostui pitkin hampain muutaman minuutin väittelyn ja hotels.comille soiton jälkeen soittamaan esimiehelleen. Olen itse työskennellyt vuosia palvelualalla asiakasrajapinnassa enkä missään nimessä voisi kuvitella toimivani kuten hotellin kasvot tiskin takana toimi. Ilmoittaen että Australiassa joutuu ongelmiin jos äänessä on ärtymystä tai puhuen päälleni keskeyttäen minut useaan kertaan. En voi suositella hotellia kenellekään, hinta-laatusuhde ei vain riitä huonolla palvelulla maustettuna.

The hotel looks out onto a busy road and doesn’t have double glazing, so don’t stay here if the traffic noise will be an issue for you. The booking specified free breakfast, but when I asked about this the staff just looked mystified and said that there was no breakfast.

The only issue I have is the ventilation in the room and on the floor that we are at (the top floor). It's always very warm in the afternoon and mornings, making it quite uncomfortable when you come back from outside. I understand it's central control but some kind of regulation should be installed for individual rooms.

Nice property, good service. Only two little concerns is the air conditioning in whole hotel for all rooms, not air conditioning in each room. And while there we had a fire alarm but was not told what happened, I’m assuming it was false alarm but could’ve let people know.

We are family of 3 adults and stayed here for 4 nights. What we like: 1. Hotel is close to shopping mall and also there are many restaurants near by. Nice park on the other side of the two-way road. 2. Near to bus station and you can catch bus to almost any part of Sydney. 3. Hotel staff was friendly. What we didn't like: 1. We selected the room with the park view from expedia but we are allocated the room with the opposite view. 2. Room was a bit congested. 3. There was not enough hooks for hanging your clothes in room and also in bathroom. 4. Windows were locked and there was no way to get the fresh air and felt suffocated sometimes.

It was a total surprise. So good value for money. The room was spotlessly clean and had all we needed for a nights stay. Smooth check in. The lady on reception (sorry didn’t get a name) was efficient, informative and very friendly. The only down side is the parking. You have to park in the shopping centre carpark. This is split into north and south, we parked in the wrong one and had a big walk, trying to find the hotel.

Our rooms are quite spacious although all are not the same size due to the architecture of the building. We have various room types all with windows except the standard rooms. For a little extra cost than the standard rooms we offer City Queen rooms and Park View Queen Rooms as well as our family rooms.Thank you for staying with us and we welcome you back.

All fine for a one night stay close to the Aware Theatre. Walking distance to venue and transport/food options close by. Exceptionally warm welcome on arrival. Bed comfy but the room lacked a window: ok for just one night but not for an extended stay. Breakout lounge in the middle of the floor was good. Broken shower screen door handle (from previous guest) was reported on the way out.

BreakFree on Broadway is well located on popular Broadway which is a no standing zone. The taxi driver took you to the closest safe space to disembark just a short distance from the front of the hotel. Our breakfast is very popular and we are proud to serve a large variety of breads for toasting, muffins, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice and a variety of coffee options and teas. The coffee machine is on each morning from 7am to 10am while breakfast is served. We look forward to welcoming you back.

Over all the property suited a need for a room. I have a few unfortunate issues, however Julie was great and got them sorted. Great for a place if you just need a bed and don't spend much time in the room (just smaller and no space for work- they do have a public space though).

Good hotel, but rooms had no windows
The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable. The staff were very polite. Breakfast was usyal choice for continental breakfast. But we only actually stayed 1 night out if the 3 nights booked. I wasnt aware at any point that the rooms we had booked, had no windows, or that the air con was controlled by the hotel. So for me and my son who has asthma, it felt claustrophobic, being in rooms with no windows and unable to alter the air con ourselves. After some negotiation with the hotel and hoteks.com I will be reimbursed for the 2 nights we didn’t stay.

Many guests book them because they like a dark room to sleep, and these rooms are quieter than those facing a street. Sometimes it was too cold. Sometimes it was too hot, and we had to call reception to let them know. It would’ve been better if we had our own control in our room about the climate.
