Security Deposit Policy

To help ensure the protection of our property and a smooth experience for all guests, a security deposit is required prior to check-in. This deposit acts solely as a safeguard against damages or unpaid expenses incurred during your stay and does not cover accommodation fees.

If no damage is reported and all guest-related expenses are settled, the full deposit will be refunded within 10 business days after check-out.

Superhostly reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for any damages or outstanding costs not covered by the deposit at the time of check-out. Charges may include, but are not limited to:

Lost keys – up to $200 per key

Lockout call-out fees – $100 during business hours, $200 outside business hours

Late check-out without approval – up to the cost incurred by Superhostly

Excessive cleaning required – $100 per hour

Breach of house rules – up to $400 (based on associated cleaning or damage costs)

Damage to property or furnishings – charged at cost of repair or replacement

Missing items – charged at cost of replacement

Return of left-behind belongings – charged at the cost of return shipping and handling

Please note that accidental minor breakages will not impact your deposit. However, intentional or malicious damage will be reported to the authorities, and the full cost of repairs or replacements may exceed the deposit amount.

Should any issues arise that affect the deposit, a full breakdown will be provided within 14 business days of check-out.
