”We are so glad we chose the Alkima Hotel for our vacation to Athens! It was extremely close to everything which allowed us to walk to all the major sights we wanted to see. ”This property was beautifully modern and spacious and well oriented toward the sun. By far this space was the most comfortable to rest for a day. It had a kitchenette, a rare find I think in european hotel selections. There was an unpleasant odor that came from the lobby of the main building, that was also found and contained in the shower stall of my hotel room. It seemed to wane over time as the water flowed down the drain. All in all a space worth the money I paid.”

”A good hostel in a walking distance from the center. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm for five nights and was surprised how easy this was. I still recommend earplugs for good night sleep. A small annoyance was the electronic locks that you must open with your phone - this means you have to carry your phone everywhere, because the door closes by itself and gets locked. The restaurant is good and staff is friendly. ”

”The property itself was good. The area it was around was a bit run-down and there was a lot of construction around. The area didn't necessarily feel the safest at night but the hostel itself was pretty clean and nice. The rooftop has a really good view of the Acropolis, it's beautiful at night! I booked an individual room, however felt like the sound-proofing was bad so was disrupted by late night hallway things.”

”Situation very good in the middle of Athens centre, 200m from Monastriraki squarea and Ermou main shopping street, 50m from Monastiraki metro station entrance. Also short walk from Acropolis. Hotel situation feel also safe without distractions. Hotel has also very nice roof terrace with Acropolis and mountain view with very reasonable drink prices. The only drawback is the strangely colored railing glass which spoils the good view a bit. Luggage room is hotel techical room. That isn’t not safe...
