”Great stay.”

”Hyvä hotelli, suosittelen!”

”Very nice place. Very convenient to local restaurants, the train station and not as busy as Shibuya or Shinjuku. Met my mother there and we both loved it very much.”

”A traditional hotel with good breakfast.”

”The hotel was very conveniently located near a major train station, the tram, and several excellent restaurants. The property was pristinely kept, and the room itself was very comfortably appointed. Fantastic shower pressure! Finally, the staff was excellent. They were welcoming and helpful and ensured a wonderful stay.”

”We like Sugamo area and chose APA for the first time since they are everywhere in Japan and location next to station was great. Room was quiet and ok but mattress was already molded by previous customers making me slide off to one side. Bathroom had moldy smell. Toiletries were given daily. Breakfast was common Japanese style and enough. However they played the same noisy hard rock music every morning. Its not suitable for breakfast! The dining area looked different style to rest of the hotel....

”Very spacious rooms, had amenities quite cheap if you need them including but not limited to juice, soda and water. Bathroom and shower area were super clean and very nice. Best hotel I’ve stayed in while I’ve been in Tokyo. Great job guys I will definitely be coming back❤️”

”This was my first trip to Tokyo and Ikebukuro was an amazing area to stay, everything was so close. Ikebukuro train station was 5min walking distance from the hotel. The hotel was hidden in a small street, very quiet. Tidy hotel but already a little bit old. The staff was very helpful all the time. Not too much skills in English but everything was taken care of so there weren’t any problems. Room was very small but enough for us to sleep.”

”Service was very friendly and everything went smoothly. The hotel was clean and the room was just what I was expecting, so no complaints there. A lovely coincidence was that there was an ice machine and microwave on my floor 😊 Sugamo is a lovely, calm neighborhood with a Yamanote stop, so perfect for commuting - the hotel is also very close to the station. And dozens of restaurants nearby. A very affordable hotel with a great location, so very much recommended!”

”I was traveling solo and was happy with the room and overall experience. The room I stayed in at 13 square meters is too small for two people in my opinion. The front desk staff was helpful. I use the laundromat in the hotel and was very happy with that. I was disappointed they do not make up the rooms. This is an extra fee, and you have to take out the garbage yourself. The location was very good, less than 10 minute walk to JR Otsuka Station. Around the hotel, there were several convenience,...

”Clean and affordable, but quite modest hotel with small rooms situated exellently in the heart of Ikekuburo just 10 min walk from the Ikebukuro Station. Lots of restaurants and shopping opportunities just around the corner. Hotel breakfast was quite poor, but overall good value for money. Recommended if you just want a place to stay the nights. ”
