”This was our second time here, and it was better than the first time. I love the features of this historic property. Our room has old hardwood floors and a fireplace. There is a veranda on the second floor for relaxing. One night we got a drink in the tavern, then had it on the veranda. The Inn offers a free continental breakfast, which is very good and has a lot to offer. We ate well every morning. The front desk folks were always friendly and helpful. I recommend this Inn.”

The room was quiet! The breakfast was thoughtfully presented. Good coffee. Great bread. We enjoyed the outside patio and lawn that leads down to the Ottauquechee River. We also enjoyed the artwork in the gallery. The best part of the inn is the owner and staff. They are attentive and eager to please. ”
