”It is convenient to the airport, with a ride to and from the airport provided. The room was air conditioned, and a great traditional Tahitian continental breakfast for a small fee. If you need assistance with stairs, that could be challenging. We didn’t use it but we saw a jacuzzi and washer/dryer. Would stay here again. I believe the owner lives in one area and the rooms are on one side of the property.”

Nous n'avons pas bien dormi : car le lit et les oreillers sont beaucoup trop dur.
Prévoyez des bouchons, car les coqs commencent à crier à 2h du matin.”

”I wish we’d spent more time at Cooks Bay Resort! A quick 20 minute taxi ride from the ferry dock on Moorea brings you to a lovely open air entrance looking over a beautiful infinity pool and private beach. The rooms are large suites with kitchenettes. Very comfy bedding and beds. Gorgeous waterfront restaurant with delicious food and drinks. We can’t wait to visit again.”

Welcome guide would be helpful or more communication with host / front desk re garbage etc. We had no mosquitoes and sat outside at dusk and in the evenings. Wonderful stay!”

”I stayed in the Kava bungalow which I thought was excellent. That said, the stairs to the loft where the main bed is are small and steep so something to keep in mind if you need to try to make it down to use the bathroom and back up in the dead of night.
The grounds and the view are straight out of your favourite travel influencer’s TikTok, so that’s a highlight, for sure. And the food at the restaurant was great. The whole place is up a steep hill so it’s not really walking friendly but if you...

”We likes this hotel very much. If you like to see something else than the chain hotels, which look exactly the same wherever in the world you are then choose this one. We had a king room with harbour view. It was marvellous. Good reef-top bar, dinner at the surf house was superb. Service was great.
What we did not like was the breakfast. That was way under the standard of the rest of the hotel.
There is also only one small elevator, where one allways had to wait for a long time especially in the...

”We arrived early, but no manager or receptionist was present; just two staff members who handled food and cleaning. A small breakfast spread was offered with a sign: “We are pleased to offer you a balanced buffet,” but no fee was mentioned. Having traveled widely, we assumed it was complimentary. Later, a receptionist told us there was a $60 breakfast charge. We were shocked—no signage indicated a fee. After contacting the manager, she sent CCTV footage, falsely claiming we were informed. She...

”Overall, I thought it was nice and comfortable. Google maps originally took me to the wrong place, but we got it sorted out. They seem to have a fair number of animals - besides a couple of dogs and a cat, I definitely heard a rooster as well. So it could be a little disruptive overnight when you're trying to sleep if you're not used to that sort of thing.”

”Great little spot where you have privacy and share common areas like kitchen, bathrooms, showers. The host was helpful and friendly. The pool was great. Peaceful place. We stayed one afternoon-evening before catching our red eye flight back to Hawaii. It was a nice spot to take a nap, enjoy the pool, and freshen up. Would like to go back and check out the tree house! Maybe next time :)”

”We stayed a bit over a week in a room with garden view (and two night in overwater bungalow via ebookers). Bed was good in the room with a garden view but a lot worse in the overwater bungalow, there were also many pillows, and also there were shampoo, body lotion, conditioner, three different soaps, slipper, utility kit and rain ponchos! Everything was clean and comfortable. Wonderful place and outstanding views, also hooray for taking care of the coral. Only minus was the REALLY pricey...
