”We stayed a bit over a week in a room with garden view (and two night in overwater bungalow via ebookers). Bed was good in the room with a garden view but a lot worse in the overwater bungalow, there were also many pillows, and also there were shampoo, body lotion, conditioner, three different soaps, slipper, utility kit and rain ponchos! Everything was clean and comfortable. Wonderful place and outstanding views, also hooray for taking care of the coral. Only minus was the REALLY pricey...

”We likes this hotel very much. If you like to see something else than the chain hotels,which look exactly the same wherever in the world you are then choose this one. We had a king room with harbour view. It was marvellous. Good reef-top bar, dinner at the surf house was superb. Service was great. What we did not like was the breakfast. That was way under the standard of the rest of the hotel. There is also only one small elevator, where one allways had to wait for a long time especially in the...

”We had a two-storey room with a sea view and it was really nice. The view was amazing over a black beach facing the island of Moorea. The service in the hotel was good. The restaurant was full on Friday and you have to take a taxi to get to Papeete so if you want to eat in the hotel make sure to make a table reservation in advance. The breakfast buffet was not much but as it was not included in our stay we preferred a la carte breakfast which was good and affordable. ”

”I wish we’d spent more time at Cooks Bay Resort! A quick 20 minute taxi ride from the ferry dock on Moorea brings you to a lovely open air entrance looking over a beautiful infinity pool and private beach. The rooms are large suites with kitchenettes. Very comfy bedding and beds. Gorgeous waterfront restaurant with delicious food and drinks. We can’t wait to visit again.”

”We loved being right on the water. Huge apartment and deck over the water. Many fish in the water all the time. Didn't like that the cat had access to our bath and kitchen areas. Nice cat but did get on the counter in the kitchen. There's no way to lock the cat out because two of the walls were open to the garden.”

”Very clean room although a bit small. Very comfy bed. Available water fountain was very handy. Downtown location across ferry and cruise terminals and lots of restaurants and stores close. Slow elevator. 15 minutes from the airport so very easy commute. Taxi drop off was at front door”

”It was great place to use as a transient hotel, however, very difficult to walk to from airport. Taxi ride is expensive $20USD for how far they had to go!”
