”We stayed a bit over a week in a room with garden view (and two night in overwater bungalow via ebookers). Bed was good in the room with a garden view but a lot worse in the overwater bungalow, there were also many pillows, and also there were shampoo, body lotion, conditioner, three different soaps, slipper, utility kit and rain ponchos! Everything was clean and comfortable. Wonderful place and outstanding views, also hooray for taking care of the coral. Only minus was the REALLY pricey...

”We likes this hotel very much. If you like to see something else than the chain hotels,which look exactly the same wherever in the world you are then choose this one. We had a king room with harbour view. It was marvellous. Good reef-top bar, dinner at the surf house was superb. Service was great. What we did not like was the breakfast. ”We had a two-storey room with a sea view and it was really nice. The view was amazing over a black beach facing the island of Moorea. The service in the hotel was good. The restaurant was full on Friday and you have to take a taxi to get to Papeete so if you want to eat in the hotel make sure to make a table reservation in advance. The breakfast buffet was not much but as it was not included in our stay we preferred a la carte breakfast which was good and affordable. ”

”My room was very clean and the staff (especially clement!) were so kind and very helpful! My room AC worked perfectly and the location was great for what I was looking for. My only complaint is that it was a bit challenging to slide my bag under to store it and be able to come down from the top bunk without stepping on top.”

”Pros: good location, clean, new. Cons: This is a very, very basic room. There was a desk, but no outlets to plug in a laptop, and no lights on or above the desk. No amenities like a coffee maker, toiletries (a bar of soap or tissues would be nice), microwave or refrigerator. Yet there was an ironing board in the closet, but no iron, and there was an ice maker in the hallway, but no ice bucket. No restaurant on site. When we asked the front desk for dining suggestions they said to use Google...

”Jean and his family were very hospitable. The food was DELISH. We snorkeled and swam from the private beach. We enjoyed a private cabin with its own bathroom. I would return there for the price and culture. Most of the experience is quaint and family friendly. I enjoyed the porch the best. If you want room service and amenities it is more like staying with family. This was a great stay on a budget and we felt treated with value. ”Neat and clean property with STUNNING views! We were there immediately after torrential rains had caused a minor landslide, so the pool and hot tub were both closed until repairs could be made. Other than that, it was a perfect 10!”
