Just under 3 miles from Tahoe City, this home is two blocks from the beach with amazing views, and a short 15-minute walk to the beach at Skylandia State Park, offering amenities like BBQ areas and walking trails for a family-friendly day in the sun. Or, head down the street to access a bike path that winds through the woods or continues down the west shore to the famous Meeks Bay.

In winter, you’re only 15 minutes from Palisades Tahoe ski resorts, 20 minutes from Northstar, and less than 5 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic Center for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. For a more relaxed outing, nearby Tahoe City offers grocery stores, a wide variety of restaurants, charming boutique shops, a movie theater, a beachfront park, a farmers market, and live music—all just a few miles away. Getting Around:
Situated just off HWY 28 and within walking distance of a public transportation stop, this home makes it easy to get by without a vehicle if needed. Alternatively, you’re just 7 minutes from Tahoe City, where you can connect to bus lines heading to destinations like Northstar California Resort or Olympic Valley. This location provides quick access to the main highway, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas within a 25-minute drive or less. In winter, hit the ski slopes at Northstar or Palisades Tahoe Ski Resorts, both under a 20-minute drive away, or drive five minutes to the Tahoe City Nordic Center for cross-country skiing. In summer, you’re within a short drive—or even a 15-minute walk—to beaches like Bristlecone Beach and Skylandia.

This is a beautiful property in a great location. The hosts were completely available and responsive. If we do this again in Lake Tahoe, we will certainly try to rent this property again.
