  • Tämä ihana neljän makuuhuoneen ja 3 kylpyhuoneen kaupunkiasunto sijaitsee kauniisti hoidetussa Lake Forest Glen -kompleksissa vain lyhyen matkan päässä Tahoe Cityn keskustasta. Vaikka huoneemme eivät ole suuria, huoneisto sopii mukavasti sekoitukseen, jossa on 3–5 aikuista ja 2–4 lasta, korkeintaan 8 vierasta. Huoneistokompleksi sisältää aikuisten uima-altaan, jossa on ympäri vuoden sijaitseva poreallas ja sauna, perheen uima-altaan, jossa on paljon tonnia ja neljä tenniskenttää. Lake Forest Glen sijaitsee Tahoe-järven puolella päätietä ja on kävelymatkan päässä joko Skylandian tai Lake Forestin rannoista. Lake Forestin julkinen veneluiska on alle kilometrin päässä etuovestamme. Voit pyöräillä tai kävellä kaupunkiin kivetyllä polulla, joka on aivan nurkan takana yksityisestä umpikujaan. Upeaa retkeilyä on runsaasti Tahoe Cityssä ja sen ympäristössä, ja sitä voi löytää niin lähellä kuin niitty, joka on takapihamme, tai lyhyen ajomatkan päässä länsirannalle, Squawille tai Donner Passille. Talviharrastajat sijaitsevat 10 - 20 minuutin ajomatkan päässä neljästä suurimmasta hiihtokeskuksesta, kuten Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Homewood ja Northstar. Tahoe XC Center sijaitsee alle mailin päässä tiellä tai maastohiihdolla niityllä heti takaovestamme.

    Ihastuttavan päivitetyn huoneistomme sisällä löydät neljä makuuhuonetta, jotka on sisustettu hytti- / mökityyliin. Makuuhuoneessa on queen-size-vuode, kylpyhuone suihkulla ja kaunis näkymä niitylle. Toisessa vierashuoneessa, 'vaaleanpunaisessa huoneessa' on myös queen-vuode, ja se jakaa päähalli-kylpyhuoneen (joka sisältää kylpyamme / suihku-yhdistelmän) kolmannen makuuhuoneen kanssa. "Cowboy kerrossänky huone" on kaksinkertainen patja pohja kerrossänky ja twin koon ylin kerrossänky. Neljäs makuuhuone sijaitsee päätasolla, jossa on täysi kylpyamme suihkulla. Neljäs makuuhuone luo täydellisen tilan vieraille, jotka haluavat tuntea olonsa hiukan erillään muusta ryhmästä tai muille, jotka eivät halua kiivetä portaita. Kaikissa yläkerran makuuhuoneissa on kaapeli-tv. Tärkeimmässä oleskelutilassa on kauniisti päivitetty keittiökeittiö, joka sisältää kymmenen jalkaa pitkän graniittiravintolan baarin, astianpesukoneen ja pinottujen pesukoneiden ja kuivausrumpujen päässä. Keittiössä on kaikki pienet kodinkoneet, kattilat, astiat ja astiat, joita kokki tarvitsee.

Järven päällä on kuntosali ja useita hyppäämispaikkoja joogakurssilla, jopa aivan järven rannalla vuokratulla melontalaudalla! Toiset voivat löytää mielellään upeita vaatekauppoja, taidegallerioita, korukauppoja ja T-paita- / matkamuistokauppoja. Kaupungissa on kaksi mielenkiintoista museota ja historiallinen Fanny-silta katsomaan patoa, joka vapauttaa järveveden Truckee-jokeen. Löydät useita upeita pubeja ja ravintoloita, jotka sijaitsevat pääkatuamme pitkin ja aivan järvenrannalla Tahoe City -venesataman ja Yacht-klubin ympärillä. Joka kesä sunnuntai-iltapäivällä kuulet järven edestä tulevan elävän musiikin äänet ilmaisella konsertilla Commons Beachillä. Aina on hauska joukko paikallisia perheitä sekoittaen vieraileviin turisteihin ja kaiken ikäisille lapsille. Kaikki nauttivat paikallisten toimittajien kirjallisista hinnoista, kotona tuodista piknikistä tai grillaamisesta aivan rannalla. Jos et ole hiihtäjä tai retkeilijä, löydät silti loputtomia hauskoja tekemistä. Nähtävyyksiä on runsaasti Tahoe Cityssä ja koko upealla Tahoe-järven alueella!

Perfect family getaway

Husband and I, along with our teen twins, my BIL, and his teen daughter, all stayed comfortably together. The home is just the right size for everyone to have together space and their own space when they need. We found all the dishes, cookware, linens, and everything we needed, readily accessible. The setting is tranquil and gorgeous. Our first night, we told the kids to watch out for bears and just a couple of hours later, we saw a mama & baby come through the meadow. The proximity to Lake Forest Beach was perfect for a day at the lake, and we spent another day on the Truckee River. Grocery shopping, dining, and downtown are all so close. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We came up for a weekend of snowboarding at Squaw Valley. Very nice clean place. Comfortable with nearby shopping and food. Had a great time.

Overdue for some TLC/updating?

Location is fantastic (Dollar Point! Tahoe City!), and the owner was easy to reach and easy to communicate with. The kitchen is extremely well-appointed! In some other regards, however, the unit is showing its age. The wall paint is scraped and scuffed, the furniture is getting old, and the interior lighting is very limited, giving the unit a dark feel that is nothing like the photos. The mattresses and bedding, in particular, appear to be very old. This is clearly a well-loved AND well-used family home, and that may suit your needs beautifully. (For example, we LOVED that some food staples are left from visitor to visitor, rather than being stripped out to leave a sterile kitchen.) But a friend of ours stayed in a nearby unit that has seen a remodel since its original construction, and the difference was dramatic. One minor note: in summertime, this is a beach place. While the web description says beach towels are not provided, the owner's emailed instructions tell you explicitly how to separate and care for the unit's beach towels. It turns out the web description is the accurate one (no towels), and the owner's justification for this (that prior visitors trashed them) was disappointing--isn't that the reason for a security deposit? Renting out a Tahoe beach place, while expecting visitors either to travel with beach towels, or go buy them at the grocery store, struck us as unrealistic.

This condo was just a great fit for our family! So close to Lake Tahoe and town. Beautiful

Wonderful winter wonderland! Back door opened to a clear meadow of snow for endless play by the kids! So nice to be able to send them out in their gear and watch from the living room window! Kitchen had everything we could ever want. Bedrooms were plenty big with very comfy beds. Kids room was so great! Especially the tv in each room with streaming channels according to my 7 and 9 year old nieces! So close to every winter activity too. 2 minutes from the lake, town, snow parks, movies, and shopping. Would definitely book this condo again! Owner was so kind and quick to respond with any questions I had. Thanks for a great holiday! Amy, Santa Rosa, Ca

Great location, good for families

The condo was in a great location, walking distance from the lake and close to Tahoe City. There's a great bakery just a few minutes walk away. The condo was comfortable and clean, with the exception of the carpets which were a bit stained in some areas and a funny smell in the master bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was well-stocked.

Convenient and roomy for family

Tricia's condo in Lake Forest Glen is a 4-bedroom that comfortably housed my husband and I, our adult son and daughter and their under 4-, 3- year old and 10 month old for 8 days. We love the location and condo facilities: family pool, quiet pool and hot tub, small playground, and plenty of space outdoors for bike riding in the complex. The home itself is in a quiet area near the entry of the complex. The view of a meadow off the back deck was a family favorite. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, pots, utensils and plates, etc. Beds were comfortable and bedding was fine. Two issues for our family had included: the back deck had boards and nails lifting up and were a bit treacherous on bare feet. The area rug in the living room was in need of a deep cleaning. Walking with bare feet left feet blackened. The stair carpet was also in need of a good cleaning. We do love this condo complex for our annual family trip to Tahoe. We liked the four bedroom floor plan, and hope to find one for sale in the complex in the future.

This is a great place. The location was perfect, close to the beach and close to restaurants.

We rented this condo for the week to attend our daughter’s wedding. The condo was perfect. The kitchen is fully stocked with spices and condiments, so you don’t need to bring your own. We only cooked 2 dinners in, but we enjoyed eating out on the deck overlooking the meadow. It was so peaceful and relaxing. One evening we saw a baby bear, but he ignored us. We were able to walk to the closest beach and we drove to others. Floating down the Truckee was awesome and I’m not a lover of water activities. The beds were very comfortable. I only have one criticism and that is that the carpet could use a cleaning, especially in the high traffic areas. Otherwise, everything was perfect. The owners are wonderful. Tricia and I shared wedding pictures.

Perfect Place for the weekend!

My family and I stayed at this lovely condo, and it was just perfect! There was a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor by the kitchen and living room. Nice comfy fireplace. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on the second floor. Lots of room and comfy beds for the most part. Only thing was that all the beds in the place were full beds, not queens which we didn't expect but for the weekend it wasn't a big deal. Kitchen was well stocked with basically anything you would need to make meals. It has a nice little deck with a grill. The best part was right in front of the deck is a huge open space, which was awesome because it was really easy to play in the snow. And the owner was very communicative, which I really appreciated. Instructions were very clear and easy. Perfect place, we really enjoyed it!

Peaceful getaway

This place was perfect for our family. Great location to get around in Tahoe and walking distance to the Sugar Pine Cakery (great bakery!) It was nicely furnished; kitchen was more than fully stocked. For us, having a first floor bedroom (so my mom didn't need to go up any stairs) was a huge plus. It really felt like a home away from home. The view out to the meadow was peaceful; we also walked to the lake (about 10 min) everyday. I would definitely stay here again!

Great rental with beautiful meadow view

Great rental, good location for exploring the lake by bicycle or car. We loved the patio with a beautuful view of a meadow. Kitchen was very well appointed and nice grill on the deck. My only negative is the Seating in the living space could be improved. We were 6 people and someone had to sit on the floor if we were hanging out. We brought a beach chair in :-). Overall loved the place and would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable family rental

My Family loved staying at this Rental Home. There was plenty of room to relax and loved the three bathrooms. The condo is walking distance to the Lake which was wonderful. Patricia was great. She gave many suggestions on what to do while visiting. We would definitely recommend this condo to others.

Beautifully appointed condo with meadow view close-in to Tahoe City.

We just spent 4 nights in this condo. We've rented many, many times in Tahoe, and have come to appreciate rentals where the owners really care about their property and their renters. This home has many decorator touches that make it warm and inviting. The back deck has a beautiful view of the meadow with wildflowers growing. We really appreciated that the kitchen was fully equipped with spices for cooking, dishwasher detergent, etc. The owners merely asked that we replace anything we used up with a small quantity for the next person. This is so much nicer than having to purchase entire containers when all you need is a teaspoon to complete a recipe. We were happy to replace the dishwasher soap that needed replenishing, knowing we were able to use a little sugar and spices from the cabinet in our cooking. Our only negative is that the jacuzzi in the complex was broken and couldn't be repaired until we left (the water was cold.)

Clean, comfortable, good location!

We greatly enjoyed our stay and found the condo to be clean and comfortable for 6 adults. It wasn't far from Squaw Valley and it was a cozy place to relax and cook after a long day of skiing. The owner Tricia was very responsive to questions and concerns (e.g. there was no dishwasher detergent but within minutes of me notifying Tricia, her son brought some over, as well as some dish towels). Would happily stay here again.

Fabulous

We had a wonderful vacation in Tahoe! Very helpful host !Patricia was fast to answer our questions and very thorough with all the information we needed. The condo was very clean and comfortable with luxury towels and bedding. The 4 rooms have great beds; the kitchen is well-stocked with everything we could have asked for. The condo has a wide open back yard out to a meadow so the kids could literally play right outside the door safely and enjoy the snow sled and making snowman. The location is a perfect North Tahoe spot - near shops, restaurants, and access to Truckee and 15 min from Squaw Valley and Northstar resorts. Adorable home, we will definitely go back.

Great July 4th in Tahoe

My friend and I took our kids (ages 2, 6, and 9 years) to Tahoe for the 4th of July weekend. We were looking for a place that combined the charm of Lake Tahoe and had the modern conveniences for ease with the kids. This condo was fabulous. It's location was perfect just outside of Tahoe City. The condo had plenty of space and everything we could have needed (washer/dryer/dishwasher/fully stocked kitchen/internet). We ate dinners on the deck cooked on the gas grill overlooking a huge meadow. We swam in the pool and played tennis. We walked to the local lake front to watch fireworks. During the daytime we took adventures into Tahoe City and Kings Beach which were very close by. The owner is great and very attentive. She texted us several times to check on us. When we accidentally left bathing suits in the dryer, she also arranged to have them sent to us which was so helpful and above and beyond. I recommend this condo very highly. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Tahoe getaway!

My family and I just enjoyed a wonderful stay at this condo in Tahoe City. The condo was very clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished and best of all - there are 4 bedrooms! Patricia, the owner, was a delight and very responsive throughout our planning and stay. Skylandia beach is a beautiful 10 minute walk away and we enjoyed riding our bikes into Tahoe City for shopping and meals. I would highly recommend a stay here. Thanks Trisha!
