Rauhallinen ja siisti hotelli, hyvä palvelu. Aurinkotuoleja löytyi aina vapaana joltain viidestä altaasta taikka rannasta. Lähistöllä loistavia ruokaravintoloita jos ei halua hotellilla syödä. Kyllä tätä voi suositella!

Return to Sensimar Khaolak Beachfront Resort
This was our second stay at Sensimar Khaolak Beachfront Resort. This time had reserved a seaview room for a week from the new wing which has been built later. This wasn't a better selection, a room with pool access or with partial seview from one of the older wings is better. Now we had to climb daily to our room which was a little bit too far away. At the beach restaurant they had almost every day theme dinners, we liked especially the ones with fish and seafood (+/ 400 THB) , they were priceworthy. The pools were in excellent condition. The only disadvantage was that you couldn't use your credit card at the pool bar, you could only ask them to charge your drinks etc on your room number. They had daily activities you can participate in, for instance aquabic. All in all Sensimar is a very good selection which I definitely recommend. The service was excellent, Thai people are nice and friendly always ready to help you.

Varokaa - hotelli siirtää asiakkaat toiseen hotell
Hotellimme Khao Lakissa (Sensimar Khaolak Beachfront Resort) vaihdettettiin vastoin tahtoamme ja meille ilmoitettiin tulevasta vaihdosta noin 5 tuntia ennen koneen lähtöä Helsingistä. Varaus hotelliin oli tehty Hotels.com kautta jo syyskuun 24. päivä ja maksettu kokonaisuudessaan. Olimme varanneet tämän tämän hotellin juuri siksi että se oli meille tuttu ja kielletty alle 18. vuotialta.

Oma rauha lähellä keskustaa. Hotellin oma seafoob BBQ oli koko kylän edullisin ja erinomainen. Mutta aina saimme nauttia illallisesta vaimon kanssa kahden!

Mukava hotelli hyvällä paikalla
Miellyttävä ja siisti hotelli aivan rannalla. Useita uima-altaita, osa hotellista sijaitsee korkealla kukkulalla jonne tosin pääsee kylän ainolla hissillä. Hotellin alue melko sokkeloinen. Hotellin ravintola melko persoonaton, ruoka tosin erinomaista. Lähistöllä useita hyviä ruokapaikkoja kävelyetäisyydellä. Hotellin keskellä sijaitsevat uima-altaat lämpenivät päivän aikana niin paljon, että iltapäivällä muistuttivat lähinnä kuumia kylpytynnyreitä.

Kylän parhaita..
Jo kolmatta kertaa Sensimarissa, ja ainavaan tykätään enemmän.. Todella hyvin varustettu hotelli, erinomaisella sijainnilla ( kaikki palvelut kävelymatkan päässä, ) Hotellivieraat enimmäkseen pariskuntia, johtuen tuosta K- 18 ikärajasta, Huoneet, niinkuin koko hotellikin vähän persoonaton, eli tuota Thai- tyyliä ei niin hirveästi korosteta. Hotellilta löytyy niin kuntosali, hierontaosasto, useita uima-altaita, parit baarit ja ravintolat ( aivan rannassa ). Hotellilla myös jatkuvasti jotain järjestettyä ohjelmaa, mm kokkaus- / drinkkikursseja, jumppaa, niin kuntosalissa, kuin altaassakin ym.ym... Erikoisuutena taitaa olla kylän ainoa ulkohissi = )

Rauhallinen kohde aktiiviliikkujalle
Vietimme 4 henkilöä 7 yötä hotellissa ja ihastuimme paikan rauhallisuuteen. Altaalla, rannassa ja ravintolassa sai nauttia sopivasti live musiikista ja altaallakaan ei raikunut niin monelle paikalle tyypillinen musajumputus korvia särkevästi. Ranta on kohoavine kalliolohkareineen hieman tavallisesta poikkeava, mutta tarjoaa aamun juoksulenkistä pitävälle huikean hienon kokemuksen kilometrejä pitkällä rannalla. Kuntosali on riittävän hyvin varustettu ja ryhmäliikuntoja vetänyt personal trainer ei päästänyt lomalaisia helpolla - upea juttu. Ainoa varsinainen pieni miinus paikassa on henkilökunnan puutteellinen englannin kielen taito. Läheinen pieni kylä kauppoineen ja ravintoloineen on muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Lyhyt vaellusretki läheiseen kansallispuistoon yllätti positiivisesti. Kokonaisuudessaan kohde sopii niin löhöäjälle kuin liikkujalle.

Mukava hotelli lähellä keskustaa
Vietimme mukavan ja rauhallisen loman tässä uudessa hotellissa maaliskuun alussa. Hotelli sijaitsee aivan rannassa. Rannalla pientä kivikkoa, mutta ei haitannut meidän uimista. Merivesi ihanan lämmintä. Loistava ja monipuolinen aamupala. Illallispalveluita emme käyttäneet, mutta lähes joka ilta oli teemaillallinen. Tarkoitettu ainoastaan aikuisille (K18). Henkilökunta ystävällistä.

Kaunis hotelli
Hotelli oli avattu runsas viikko ennen vierailuamme. Huoneet olivat kauniisti sisustetut ja hyvin varustellut. Altaita hotellialueella oli neljä ja hotelli sijaitsi kauniin rannan vieressä. Koska hotelli oli juuri avattu, henkilökunta oli uutta. Muualla kuin vastaanotossa henkilökunta ei puhunut sanaakaan englantia. Esimerkiksi hotellin ravintolassa ei osattu vastata yksinkertaisiinkaan kysymyksiin. Lisäksi sähköt pätkivät jatkuvasti eikä internet-yhteys toiminut. Esimerkiksi hotellin ravintolasta emme onnistuneet sähköjen pätkimisen vuoksi saamaan tilaamiamme ruokia. Uskon kuitenkin, että ongelmat johtuivat hotellin uutuudesta ja jo puolen vuoden päästä hotellia voi suositella.

The property and staff are fantastic. This is an adult only property and when we went there, it seemed like the majority of the guests were 65 and over. Mostly people from Europe when we stayed there. This is a property if you want peace and relaxation without a lot of noise. If you would like a younger crowd, this property might not be your choice.

Going here, you probably want to spend time on a sun chair by the beach. Forget it unless you are prepared to walk down to the chairs st 07:30. Even if they have a no-reserving-policy, people put their towels an some dum item pretending they are around. Get MORE sun chairs! The personell in charge don’t dare to remove the reservings. To many people in the the same location. Unless you are a german/swedish charter tourist that enjoy noisy and crowded all-inclusive buffets…avoid this hotel.

beautiful location, also close to town within walking distance, very good aqua fitness classes, great beaches near by,calm water, restaurnts just ok at dinner time alot of people go out to other restaurants, many many stairs beware!!! asked to change room bad kneew but no response, front desk staff tried but if they didn't know the answer would walk away and serve someone else, beware pool turns hair and clothing green. have been aware of this for two weeks but done nothing to fix it

We had a wonderful stay here! We were upgraded to an oceanfront room that was fabulous! The room had a wonderful patio with table chairs, two lounge chairs with umbrella and literally steps to the beautiful uncrowded sandy warm water beach! The property is beautifully landscaped and clean. The pools are wonderful. The staff is friendly. The food was great, offering both local Thai food as well as many other options. Very peaceful and relaxing! Wonderful place!

Wir waren nur eine Nacht in dem Resort und bevorzugen eigentlich kleinere Anlagen, aber uns hat der Aufenthalt gefallen. Das Zimmer war geräumig mit überdurchschnittlich großem Kühlschrank, es gibt eine Swim-up-Poolbar, Hängematten am Strand, der Service ist zuvorkommend und freundlich. Allerdings ist das Resort weit entfernt von allem, so dass wir sogar ein Taxi zum nächsten 7-11 nehmen mussten. Alles in allem für ein paar Nächte zu empfehlen.

Hôtel fantastique, personnel très attentionné et sympathique ! Notre chambre face à la mer était très grande et très agréable. Le restaurant avec de la nourriture internationale et thaïe nous a donné entière satisfaction (La préparation d'un plat spécial pour cause d'allergie, n'a posé aucun problème). Une coupe de mousseux et un morceau de gâteau pour mon anniversaire au moment du départ a été un moment très apprécié. Nous reviendrons.

Superbra hotell, många pooler och nära till stranden. Även gångavstånd till flera restauranger i staden. Handdukar byts varje dag om man önskar, det bjuds på nytt dricksvatten varje dag. Frukosten är allt man kan önska sig till frukost. Personalen är trevlig och hjälpsam. Förbättringssynpunker: Gymmet var lite litet och det fanns inte några skivstänger samt att poolen blev för varm för att kännas svalkande efter en solig dag.

Great Hotel, Great staff
The hotel is great, the staff is amazing, the service is excellent. The pools are very nice, clean and beautiful. We have only great things to say about the hotel and our stay there:)))

The best qualities of this resort are its staff. Attentive, professional and engaging staff who did their utmost to practice their English and ensure their customers were content. Rooms were very clean and welcoming with daily servicing. The clientele were mainly Europeans. The breakfast buffet was a highlight on arrival and we were spoilt with an upgrade to a spacious beach bungalow for our wedding anniversary. Few steps to negotiate for older clients. Lovely sandy beach and fitness options in hotel and pool aerobics daily. 4 pools all beautifully maintained. A well organised transport/taxi service to take you to the many surrounding markets, waterfalls, beaches and National parks. We will definitely be back!

Nice but not for us
We had a grand deluxe room in the mountain wing. The room was very nicely fitted out, clean and comfortable. Ensuit had all you needed and a lovely shower. Our balcony looked out to see through the tree line and was private and quiet. Breakfast was what you would expect with a variety of food options. From 7am to 10am we tried all times but never found a quiet time. The hotels location is a short walk to all the shops and eateries which is handy. However although nothing tangeable the grounds, pools and beach were not for us. It all seemed a little tight. So we used our room had breakfast then headed out on a sooter everyday. That we really enjoyed.
