  • Happy Valley Chalet on kaunis kaksikerroksinen koti 35 hehtaarin rauhallisuudella. Nauti 3 erillistä ulkotilaa. Suuri avoin kansi, josta on näköala kääntyvälle vuoren purolle (täydellinen paikka tähden katseluun), suojattu kuistilla, kattotuuletin niille laiskoille iltapäivisin ja patio. Urheiluvälineillesi on sisäänrakennettu autotalli; kajakkeja, meloa, polkupyöriä ja moottoripyöriä (tilaa noin 8 moottoripyörälle). Vaellusvirran vieressä on ulkopuolinen tulenrengas nautinnoksi ja soiden mellowit. Kaikille grillauskokkille on saatavilla myös hiiligrilli. EI saa missään olosuhteissa sallia eläimiä. Olen pahoillani. Happy Valley Chalet ei sovellu pienille lapsille tai pikkulapsille. Meillä on 2 makuuhuonetta yläkerrassa; 1 king-vuode, 1 2 queen beds, futon olohuoneessa ja vuodesohva, josta tulee parivuode. Portaikkojen alaosassa on makuuhuone, jossa queen-size-vuode, 2 erillistä vuodetta alkovissa ja queen-size-vuodesohva. Talossa on gourmet-keittiö, internet, satelliitti-TV, foosball-pöytä, pingispöytä ja DVD-soitin. Kiinteistössä on myös useita kävelyreittejä. PALJON PALJONA EI HAPPY VALLEY. TÄTÄ ON MAA-PUHELINLINJA. Myös Happy Valleyn Internet on rajoitettu sähköposteihin. Peritään 200 dollarin täysin palautettava vahinkomaksu.
    On poreallas omaisuutta on 25 dollaria ylläpitomaksu, jos haluat käyttää sitä. Muuten se lukitaan.

    Valitettavasti meillä on ollut useita suuria ryhmiä, jotka eivät ole noudattaneet talosääntöjä ja kunnioittamatta omaisuutta. Happy Valley -mökki ei ole puoluetalo! Joten jos haluat kuluttaa erittäin paljon alkoholia, valitse toinen paikka. Happy Valley ei sovellu lapsille, joten EI LAPSIA ole sallittu. Wonderful place to stay. Clean, spacious and private. The owner is great and made the process simple and easy. Location of the property is perfect if you are going down to ride or just explore the area.

The place was great!

We arrived and had no problems getting in. Loved the place, my friends and I had a great time and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Nice and quiet area to enjoy and be yourself.

Great every time

Closest big home next to the dragon, location takes the cake for me. This time the hot tub was broken, which is a big thing for some of the guest, but we love the house for all the other amenities, so no sweat! Will come back next year.

Family reunion

We had a wonderful time at the Happy Valley chalet. We had 12 family members from 4 different states. It was centrally located for us. The home is so spacious, the windows provide awesome views and the flowing stream sounds amazing! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need but the whole place has everything! We had a fabulous time and look forward to coming back again.

Great place for a family reunion on a seclude area

The house is well kept and plenty of social area. The kitchen/dining/living room is ample and open. Owners keep the place in good conditions and plenty of activities to do if opt to stay inside (movies, books, board games, jacuzzi, etc.) Overall, a great place to stay in the mountains and surrounded areas.

Just right for a trip to Tail of the Dragon

The house is a great fit for a small to medium sized group. It is isolated enough to relax without the sounds of the city but close enough to get the comforts you might need

Amazing place

Absolutely beautiful here. We had plenty of room for everyone. Bridgette is extremely accommodating and super nice. So close to the Dragon129 and the Smokeys. We will be planning a yearly trip here.

Beautiful property, comfy furnishings

We went with extended family, 13 of us. Plenty of room and beds for everyone. The kids enjoyed the "ugly" chair. The owner was very gracious and helpful. Julie

Great place, lots of room and comfort

Two families with kiddos for Spring Break. Lots of room to hike and explore. Hot tub and deck areas are great. Plenty of kitchen stuff, extra towels, blankets - very accommodating! Bridget was great in communicating all details and in making our stay very satisfying.

A great spot to vacation with friends!

We spent a week here with friends from all over the United States, and couldn't have had a better time. Plenty of sleeping arrangements, room for activities, good proximity to US129/The Dragon and surrounding areas and attractions, and just off the beaten path enough to be a peaceful place to wind down from the day. We'll be back next year!

PEACEFUL, RELAXING, TRANQUILITY

My husband and I chose this house for our honeymoon and after we stepped in the door we wanted to BUY it! We were so relaxed, and so close to the dragon. You couldn't beat it! Plenty of sleeping arrangements for our friends that came down for the weekend! We're hoping to get this place every year for our annual retreat!

Great location for the Tail of the Dragon. Spacious, quiet, space for bikes, and cars to park, yes!

Myself and 13 of my friends brought 11 bikes and 4 cars to have fun at the dragon. This was the perfect spot, 15 minutes (or less) to the overlook, spacious for all 14 of us. Hot tub, kitchen, balcony, this place has it all. Also, the landlord Bridget is very friendly and easy to work with! Will definitely stay here from now on!

Totally Awesome 80th Birthday!

This was the perfect spot for our family's birthday celebrations! We had 9 people and 4 dogs with lots of room to spare. The weather was perfect. The wildflowers, the humming birds, and the gold finches were beautiful and plentiful. We enjoyed walks to the creek at the end of the property where the dogs romped and played for hours! The hot tub was great for our aching muscles after attempting to hike Abram's Falls or fierce foosball games. The house had everything we could need right down to the birthday candles! Look forward to coming back again and again!

Pleasant stay

We recently spent a weekend at the chalet with 8 friends. The setting is beautiful & the chalet fit our needs perfectly. We could enjoy quiet times together, go hiking, or explore the Great Smoky Mountain Park. We hope to go back!

What a great vacation!

If your a motorcycle enthusiast, the tail of the dragon is the mecca for experienced riders. We rented the cabin over memorial weekend and had a unbelievable time! The house is a way better option than the cabins in the mountains. For us the parking has been a huge issue in the past, but there is ample parking (on flat land even). We had a few very small requests during our stay and the homeowner took care of them quickly, she was a very good hostess. The house is very close to main roads, but sits off the road enough that it is a very private setting. This will not be our last time staying at Happy Valley Chalet!!! Thanks again from Mike and the Family!!

Great Place to Stay

Wonderful place to get away from the city. A beautiful stream runs through the property. We relaxed in the hot tub, toasted smores over the fit pit, watched the moon come over the mountain, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. There was plenty of parking for our cars and the house had everything we needed to feel at home. It was clean and well appointed. The owner, Bridget, was very helpful and communicated well with us.
