Anna Sunset House ja löytää aarteita yhden Tamarindon todellista ylellisyyttä vuokra helmiä. Tunnetun San Diego-Kalifornian arkkitehdin Steve Adamsin suunnittelema, Flor del Pacificon / Jeff Huttonin rakentama arkkitehti, joka on alueen suosituin kotitalousrakentaja, on sisustettu Mu Designin mukaan. lähestyä.

Sunset house

Great property and perfect location if you want to surf. The house is set up perfectly and beautifully maintained. The staff could not have been better great food !!! Safe for a 2 year old pool removed from common space.

Ocean view of greatness

The pictures of this place do not do it justice. When you walk in the door and turn and see the ocean view it will take your breath away. We had 4 couples and we all will be back. The staff was amazing and they were always available at any moment we had a question. Joanna was an amazing cook for us at breakfast and took great care of our laundry every day. The facilities are top notch and and the suggested chefs were out of this world. Karina is a excellent host and can’t say enough about how wonderful she was.

Spring Break!

The house is beautiful! And never before has a house been named so appropriately…The Sunset House is in the perfect location to see every minute of the lovely Costa Rican Sunsets…something we made a point of being on that spacious, gorgeous patio for every evening. Karina & Katherine were available for every call or question I had and quickly took care of what I needed. It is our 2nd time using one of the properties they manage and it won’t be the last. I highly recommend The Sunset House…it’s perfect for indoor/outdoor living, an easy walk into town or to the beach and you can’t beat that sunset view!

Loved our stay at Sunset House.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with family at Sunset House. We wanted to stay in Tamarindo and Sunset House stood out because it was within walking distance to town/the beach and the pictures of the house/views were incredible. Karina, your primary contact, responded quickly to any and all questions. She was there to greet us, which I think she does because she loves seeing people’s faces when they walk through the front door for the first time and see that SPECTACULAR view. The pictures are great but can’t compare to actually standing there and seeing it all in person. After giving us a tour of house, she explained that Geovanna, our housekeeper/cook would be there in the morning along with Gama who would be doing outdoor and pool maintenance. Celia (security person) was around in the evening to make sure all was well. It was nice knowing she was there but we NEVER felt unsafe at the house, in town or on the beach. The house, and the staff were incredible. Geovanna was there every day by 7:00 am and made wonderful breakfasts, did our laundry and kept the inside of the house straightened up. We did rent two golf carts which was a great way to get into and around town and for the quick trips down the hill to the beach. Probably the most spectacular aspect of the house, comes from its name, Sunset House. The SUNSETS are AMAZING. Make sure you are back on the patio at the end of the day to take it all in. I could go on and on. Just go, you won’t be disappointed.

We Were Wowed!

This house is fabulous. And the staff associated with it is as good as they come. Tamarindo is a fantastic place to visit. It's a global attraction so all the people you meet and see are from everywhere in the world. Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Germany, England, Australia and more. U.S. Gringos are there of course, but in the minority. We liked that. Sunset House has a commanding view. Like no place we have ever rented before. The open concept worked perfectly allowing both participation and privacy as needed. The only drawback to the locale is that if you're walking, the climb up to the house takes a pretty hearty effort. We were interested in the vaunted state of the art misting system which the listing said would discourage mosquitoes. But it never operated and we only got vague answers about why this was the case. But those are the only nits I could possibly pick. We had a wonderful, memorable, perfect week there with our three adult children and their spouses/significant others. We were there for the week after Christmas. And there were high energy concerts and happy, dancing crowds on the beach almost the whole time. We loved the energy and people watching. In that regard, the location of the house makes it the perfect get-away. Close enough to join the fun and far enough to literally rise above it all. Karina Flecha from the leasing agent was very helpful at getting us squared away before we got there. Grocery shopping, dinner reservations, arranging for a golf cart, referrals to local resources. The caretaker made himself available at all times too. We had all sorts of (mostly dumb) questions as we learned the ropes and Francisco was always ready to respond. And the lady named Leidy who made an abundant breakfast every morning, cleaned the house, made the beds and did our laundry every day is a jewel. Smiley, helpful and seemingly tireless. She made a tremendously positive difference all by herself. For airport transportation, and activities like fishing, zip-lining, etc, Karina and team steered us to Xplore Costa Rica, a local booking agent. My impression is that Xplore's prices are above average. Sometimes well above. So you may not want to rely on Xplore any more than necessary. That's not a knock on this VRBO. I'm just encouraging future guests to shop around a little. All in all, this house and this town are both one in a million. We loved our time there and can't recommend it more highly. .

Amazing house! Highly recommended!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and the sunset house provided everything we needed. . Great location, only 5 minutes drive to the beach, supermarket and restaurants in our golf carts. The bedrooms were spacious and each with its own bathroom. The common areas were large enough to hold our group of 14 without feeling crowded. Great views from the pool and dining area, watching the sunset from the terrace was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. I would probably add an espresso machine and beware of the driveway, is very steep even for the golf carts. it was a challenge to keep one of the rooms cool,, one of the kids rooms (bunk beds), since the kids would leave the door open many times during the day and the AC unit would automatically shut off. Maybe consider changing the settings. I don’t know how to solve the problem and save energy, but it was very difficult to cool it back down after being off for several hours. Thank you to Karina, our host, always responsive and a great communicator. Special thanks to Joanna, Andrea and Mario for such a great job taking care of breakfast, cleaning and laundry every day (all included in the price). They made our stay even more relaxing and special. We would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful

The house is beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. Lady made us a beautiful breakfast every day and did our laundry. Such a treat! Francisco took great care of us and was available at a moments notice to answer any questions. It's really close to town but up a steep hill. We rented a golf cart which was fun. There are many yummy places to eat in town but the view of the sunset is so wonderful we preferred to stay home in the evenings. Loved every minute of our vacation

View, staff and amazing architecture

This is a unique and special place, designed and furnished with much thought. Even in summer, the open air common area concept was incredible. Amazing views, comfortable beds and fabulous staff.

Incredible experience

We had a wonderful time at Sunset House-it is gorgeous, spacious, comfortable, clean, set up above overlooking Tamarindo only a 5 minute walk to the beach. It is private secluded , peaceful and you can see wildlife including monkeys from the open area leading down tomthe bautiful pool. You will have all required amenities on hand. And the staff!! They are spectacular and so kind and friendly and accommodating, from the management (Francisco and Karina), Hugo the chef and the Leydy the housekeeper, all went beyond the call to make our experience an awesome adventure. They were so lovely, it made the stay that much more memorable. There really aren't any negatives. They have an incredible water treatment system that provides either still or sparkling water...the group loved it and never drank so much water! They also have a mosquito repellent system-we had no issues during our stay. The house is close to shops and an easy walk to downtown Calle Central Tamarindo ..highly recommended. The only thing I would suggest to all guests is to keep your bedroom door keys with you in your rooms at night and lock the doors..just for security and piece of mind, as it is an open concept villa..pero que villa!!❤️❤️ Hugito, Francisco, Karina y Leydy: gracias por todo y ojalas nos veremos si Dios quiere. Most wonderful ocean view ever experienced

We had a group stay at Sunset House and Casa Alang Alang for a wedding in Tamarindo in July of 2018. The facilities are so unique and modern. Sunset house was spotless upon arrival. The service was also impeccable! Lady prepared coffee and fresh fruit every morning, she did laundry for us daily. She truly went above and beyond! We needed a steamer for the wedding day and she went out and found one for us and steamed our attire. We asked for yoga mats and they were provided quickly. We had an incredible stay and we can't recommend this villa enough!

EASY TO KNOW WHY THEY CALL THIS THE SUNSET HOUSE

We found the Sunset House as a back up to a BVI boat trip. Hurricanes spoiled our plans and we looked elsewhere fortunately. Karina made planning and reservations a dream. 8 adults in all, we drew room keys for bedrooms and all won. This is an amazing property, great location, 1 block from town and the beach, spectacular views, 5 star service, cook/cleaning/breakfast, we could not have been treated any better. Francisco, Karina, Leity, and Bernardo met us to show us this home, and from then on we had someone taking care of our every need. Breakfast every morning, we used the chef 3 nights which was well worth the extra. Rented e-bikes for the beach, a river trip looking for monkeys and crocs, we found plenty to do when we weren’t just enjoying the house and the view. Centrally located to beach bars and restaurants, you will find yourselves wanting to stay longer. We expect you will love this as much as we did, good luck.

Better than you can imagine!

We just stayed for a week in June with 8 adults and 6 kids. The house was better than any of the pictures and made for a great family vacation. Not only were all the rooms spacious the bunk room slept all of the kids comfortably. There really is nothing to complain about the house and the views/ pool are simply amazing. As for the staff, definitely better than any hotel. With breakfast and maid service daily it really makes life easy. The maids kept the place clean and would even do any laundry we needed cleaned daily. Francisco the onsite manager was also great and made sure we had everything we needed. He even gave us a ride to pick up our golf cart rental which I would recommend for getting to town and to the beach. Lastly, if you are considering hiring Jugo the chef for dinners, I say YES! The food was better than any place you could go to in Tamarindo and there was plenty of it each night. Not only was every meal delicious, it was cheaper than going to a restaurant each night. This place is your own private oasis with all the great service of a 5 star resort!

Sunset house was such an amazing and unique vacation destination. We traveled with 8 adults and 7 kids - the bunk room was perfect to house (almost) all of the kiddos, and the outdoor living space/infinity pool provided hours of fun for all. The staff could not have been more helpful; Leidi took such great care of us from amazing breakfasts to keeping our rooms/laundry spotless. Bernardo was always around to help in whatever way possible. Hugo and Edmund cooked us amazing meals 3 of the nights, and the remainder we spent exploring different restaurants in town. The golf cart was definitely useful to cart kids and beach stuff up and down the hill, although the walk is also very doable. We saw monkeys every night from the porch, and house is aptly named for some of the best sunset views I've ever seen. Karina was beyond helpful. Would recommend this to others in a heartbeat!

Casa Ocaso - Paraíso Puro!

Our lasting memories of Casa Ocaso include the jaw-dropping and stunning views from every angle of the home, the pure comfort and convenience in every room of the house, looking out at the Pacific from the pool, and the monkeys putting on a show in the trees. The ten of us enjoyed a wonderful week at Casa Ocaso and plan on returning. We booked Casa Ocaso through Jen at Stay in Tamarindo (website of the same name) for the week of April 22-29, 2017. Before arrival, Jen, Cristina, and Adriana helped us arrange everything, including airport transfers, activities, and tours. And when we arrived, everything was ready – the house and all of our rooms were clean (immaculate). The architecture is fascinating, with the bedrooms (with A/C) being the only rooms fully enclosed. The rest of the house is open-air, including the kitchen and dining area. Ceiling fans help keep the house cool. The pool was the perfect temperature and is well maintained. There was plenty of room for all of us, and more. The staff was friendly and very efficient – always ready to help. We will never forget the moment we walked in the front door and saw, for the first time, the magnificent view of the coast. You’ll think you’re in the finest home in Tamarindo, because you are. There is no better place from which to enjoy all that Tamarindo and Guanacaste have to offer. We wish we were still there.

Living a dream

What a perfect place to enjoy a fantastic country! We could not have been more pleased. Everything was done with excellence and all the staff and others were a delight. The food prepared by the chef was the best in town. Karina is awesome so just take her advice and have fun!

Fantastic Costa Rican getaway!

Sunset House was, far and away, the nicest accommodation I've ever stayed in. We had a large group of 12 and the house still felt spacious. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and the house always felt clean, safe, and luxurious. Highlights include: the infinity pool (!!), chef services (dinner was exceptional), daily housekeeping and laundry(!), not to mention a view that continues to take my breath away. We would absolutely return!!

Sunset House....a paradise like no other!

This was our most favorite vacation we have taken. The house is absolutely beautiful and the views are magnificent. We were fortunate to meet the most wonderful people that worked in the home. Upon arrival .... The wonderful property manager was there to greet us and the most delicious fresh juices and food was waiting to be consumed. The chefs could not have been more accommodating to everyone's requests and we did not ever want to dine anywhere else but Sunset House. Watching the sunsets from the patio every night was blissful and yoga each morning on the patio was a dream come true. Sunset House is a special home that will exceed all your expectations.

What a dream house for a dream vacation!! Three families EASILY fit into gorgeous home. Truly a couple minutes from the beach – with stunning views from the early morning surf – to the perfect Tamarindo Sunset. The staff was over accommodating and took care of every need we had. We are all checking our calendars so we can schedule another trip back to the exact same location.

How do you summarize such an incredible place in just a few words! Sunset House is perfection. From the moment you walk in you are treated like family. The views and appointments of the house are amazing but it's really the staff Karina, Francisco, Bernardo, Leidi, Hugo and Jadir that give this place such heart. Do not hesitate for one second to stay here! We had an age range of 66- 9 months and everyone felt right at home. As a mother of young kids I really appreciated the Vero system and the Mister System. I did not see one mosquito and the water on tap was so handy! My 7 and 5 year old still talk about their "sparkly" water. We rented a golf cart for the week and that was super helpful for getting up to the house from the beach with the kiddos. This place is so special just do it! Pura Vida!

Best Vacation Rental in Tamarindo

Just spent a week at Casa Sunset in Tamarindo with four couples for anniversaries. Pictures don't do the house justice - it is amazing inside and out. Perfectly set on the side of a hill but a very short walk down to Tamarindo beach. There are four master suites with in suite bathrooms, three have phenomenal views. There is a fifth bedroom with bunk beds to sleep up to 6 and its own bathroom. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals most of the week. The water filtration system is awesome - we never had to buy water. The pool is amazing and there is a cool Sonos sound system that goes throughout the house. We got massages on the private massage balcony. Really good A/C in every room and fans throughout the house. The common area and kitchen is open air which was so nice. There are large fans so it never got too hot. What made the house extra special was the help from Karina, Francisco, Leidi, and Bernardo. Karina made the booking process very easy and helped us with airport transfers and referred to a good local company for tours. Francisco manages the property and lives in a house adjacent to Casa de Sunset and is available 24/7 to help with anything - he even went and picked up ice for us! He speaks perfect English and made good recommendations for activities and restaurants. Leidi kept our rooms clean and laundered and folded our clothes every day - I would have packed half as much stuff if I had known how awesome she was. Bernardo kept the pool and outside of the house impeccable the whole time.
