Riverside Castle With Large Pool by Tampa Zoo & Armature Works

Located in Tampa, this gorgeous villa offers plenty of space for a large group or family. With seven bedrooms featuring six queen beds and one king bed, everyone can sleep comfortably. Guests will find four bathrooms, some with relaxing bathtubs, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The charming living room includes a cozy sofa bed, ideal for extra guests or a quiet spot to relax. Whether you’re gathering for meals or enjoying downtime, this amazing villa provides a welcoming atmosphere. We hope you enjoy what our place and Tampa have to offer.

The pool is professionally maintained twice a week (Mondays and Fridays). If service falls during your stay, it may be unavailable for a short period while chemicals circulate. There are also surrounding trees, so occasional leaves are normal, but the pool is regularly cleaned and maintained. A leaf skimmer is available if needed between cleanings.

The property has a private boat dock at the far back of the property, but is not currently available for guest use.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful riverside mansion. The home is massive and truly unique, with a stunning Spanish castle feel, it’s actually the biggest house on the street and we even got a little lost when we first arrived!The kitchen is huge with a large island and plenty of seating, perfect for gathering. We loved the spacious living room with the pool table and indoor bar, great for hosting. We also had a blast with poker night in the upstairs living room and used both the pool table and ping-pong table. The fire pit at night was a great touch, and the sunsets over the river were absolutely breathtaking.The location is perfect, just minutes from Armature Works, ZooTampa at Lowry Park, downtown, the highways, and Tampa International Airport.Our whole family loved it, and we will definitely be back!

The house is very large, in a solid location and accommodates large groups. The host (Derek) was very responsive to questions and requests for items (towels and other supplies). The bathrooms and beds were generally clean and comfortable.The house was advertised on VRBO with 5 bathrooms (5 full and 1 half) and each bathroom was listed on the VRBO site. Upon arrival and getting acquainted with the property, we quickly realized that we only had access to 4 full bathrooms of the 5 bathrooms that were listed on VRBO. I reached out and asked where the other 1 bathrooms were. The host replied that there are only 5 bathrooms and the half bathroom isn't available since it is under construction. The listing is misleading since there are only 4 full bathrooms and one half bathroom (unavailable). Where is the other full bathroom listed on the site? The listing should include the correct information so renters can properly plan. It shouldn't be a surprise when renters show up to the property.Other items that need repair - kitchen cabinet doors aren't secure and falling off, refrigerator works but has a lot of wasted space (missing shelving) and the doors don't secure unless pressed hard, missing railing on second floor outdoor deck, toilet is cracked in the king suite and many of the finishes need repairs.

OUTSTANDING!Group of 10 guys for basketball tournament. Been going on these trips over 25 years and the Castle made the trip more memorable. Plenty of room is an understatement . It is bigger than appears on site. Huge bedrooms, comfortable, clean beds, loaded kitchen, outdoor grills and huge areas to hang out, eat , TV, cards, etc.Pool area great. Bathrooms complete with towels and amenities. Place is really unique and everyone in our group absolutely loved it there. Derek was an exceptional and accommodating host. A bunch of us got in early and a few left late and he made the property available to us to accommodate our flights. Great, easy communication. In conclusion, a model experience and host and a great place that Derek is putting even more into. Convenient to all the places you’d want to go to in the Tampa areaThanks Derek!

This property worked out for us as a bachelor party. However, all 12 of us were in agreement if our wives or families were with us it is unlikely that we would have stayed. The property is in need of some serious maintenance on the exterior and interior. There were bedrooms, bathrooms, & dining room that were not available for our use as advertised. The pool was unusable as we were told the next day the pool company would be out.... They shocked the pool and advised us not to get in. The countertops in the kitchen were black when cleaned. The refrigerator seals are shot and it would not stay shut.The dock is a lawsuit waiting to happen. We had a great time with our buddies, but I would have been irate if I travelled more than 2 hours to get there or if my family would have been with us. If you are looking for a massive home and do not mind it not being in excellent condition, this is probably the one for you. If you are looking for a massive home that is in great condition and ready for your family to enjoy, you may want to keep looking.
