âWe highly recommend the Hotel Palwa. Our third-floor room was in great condition: mattress and pillows were comfortable, Wi-Fi, shower, toilet, AC all worked very well. The hotel room was quiet, yet it is easily within walkable distance to downtown attractions. As a side note, there is a small bakery directly south, across the street, which serves the best cinnamon rolls Iâve ever had!

âFirst off... this jitel is not 4 or five star hotel so if you are looking for one then book something else... BUT it offers all the amenities you normally need. It has a nice pool, has hot water in showers and AC in rooms. Food is also okay. Staff of the hotel are awesome and really helpful. I highly recommend that you ask the hotel to arrange your whale watching/sightseeing tour. They have some tricks up their sleeves that might help you save lots of time queing. â
âitâs near Robinsons Mall and Ceres Bus Terminal which i like very much. my room came with a bacony facing the street. itâs not quite but itâs safe and free home cook breakfast all day.â

âLantawan is a great hotel with a suite remote location. So you have to pe prepared to rent a motorbike/scooter. But the hotel is very affordable, and the price of the renting is not too bad (600PHP/day). The food in the restaurant is very good also. Overall a great place with extremely friendly staff! Only downside is that the wifi is not very good and does not work all day.â
âThis is my favorite place to stay in Dumaguete. Staff go the extra mile to accommodate guests' needs; rooms are comfortable; complimentary breakfast is excellent; location is close to downtown.
The two most significant 'negatives' are: location next to several schools results in heavy traffic, especially between 3-6 PM. Also, water pressure in rooms is somewhat weak and water temperature lukewarm.â
âThe property is infront of the main road where the noise come from but on the other side of the road there is a nice view of the sea...they offer you to make a coffee but there's no mineral water to boil your water...but there's a 5 minutes walk, a 24 hours bakery that you can buy small stuff like mineral water.â
âExellent visit. I went to see Whale sharks and everything I need, they help in hotel. Program, underwater kamera, logistic, food, for everything they had a solution. Definetely I can recommend it.â

They rent motorbikes so itâs easy to get around and visit waterfalls. The rooms are a great size and very clean. I recommend this place to any traveller!â
