Upea hotelli meren rannalla
Capotaormina on perinteikäs hotelli upealla paikalla korkealla kalliolla meren rannalla. Hotellilla on oma ranta, mikä on harvinaista Taorminan alueella. Palvelu on erinomaista. Ruoka ja juoma ovat kalliita. Hotellille pääsee suoraan bussilla Catanian lentoasemalta ja takaisin. Myös yhteydet Taorminaan toimivat. Vaikka päätie kulkee ihan vierestä, huoneet ovat hiljaisia, koska ne sijaitsevat rinteessä alaspäin tulokerroksesta.

Upea sijainti
Capotaormina on hiukan vanhahtava ja huoneet vähän kuluneet. Kuitenkin siistit. Sijainti meren äärellä, aaltojen tyrskyissä ihana. Näkymät meren puolella upeat, Etnakin näkyy! Uimaranta on pikkukivinen ja aika vaikeasti kahlattava. Uima-allas puolelta taas pääsee uimarappuja mereen uimaan. Ei sovi mielestäni perheille pikkulasten kanssa. Aamiaspaikka terassilla ihana. Lounastarjonta on aika rajallinen: Joko kallis lounas ravintolassa tai kolmioleipiä Beach ja Pool baareissa. Ilmainen kuljetus Taorminan bussiasemalle useita kertoja päivässä on hyvä, koska hotellin välittömässä läheisyydessä ei oikein hyviä ravintoloita löydy.

Beautiful grounds unlike any other. Renovated room was extremely spacious and perfect for our stay. Not sure if all the rooms are renovated but the room we received was even better than expected. Shuttle bus is also very convenient

What a fun property. The views were stunning and the pool was worth the trip. It's a bit of a ways from the centro area but they have a convenient bus shuttle so it's all good. I would definitely come back!

The views, the pool, the beach, and the balcony were wonderful. Our bathroom had some water issues, but the room was comfortable and spacious. We had the most relaxing time on the sun loungers with the most amazing scenic view. And a free coach up into town for dinner and back.

Il mio recente soggiorno all'UNAhotel Capotaormina è stato a dir poco deludente. Nonostante a novembre il clima fosse ancora caldo, con una temperatura di 25º Celsius, l'hotel aveva spento l'aria condizionata, lasciando la stanza insopportabilmente calda e scomoda. Era difficile anche respirare lì dentro. Quando ho espresso le mie preoccupazioni all'addetto alla reception, la loro soluzione è stata semplicemente lasciare la porta del balcone aperta per far circolare l'aria. Questa non fu una risposta soddisfacente, considerando le circostanze. Oltre al problema dell'aria condizionata, la pulizia dell'hotel lasciava molto a desiderare. Con mio shock e sgomento, ho scoperto pezzi di vetro sul pavimento, che rappresentavano un potenziale pericolo per la sicurezza. Anche il bagno era in uno stato deplorevole, costringendomi a richiedere gli asciugamani perché non erano forniti nella stanza. È stato deludente constatare una tale mancanza di attenzione alla pulizia e al comfort degli ospiti. Inoltre, gli addetti alla reception dell'UNAhotel Capotaormina sono stati costantemente scortesi e poco disponibili durante il mio soggiorno. La loro mancanza di cortesia e disponibilità ad assistere gli ospiti ha sminuito l'esperienza complessiva.

Slitent hotell med fin beliggenhet
Hotellet har en fin beliggenhet med privat strand og basseng. Jeg reiste utenfor sesong, og kan se for meg at det fort kan bli trangt på stranden og ved bassenget når hotellet er fullt. Godt utvalg på frokostbuffeten, men systemet med at servitørene henter kaffe fra kaffemaskinen er lite effektivt. Positivt med shuttlebuss mellom hotellet og Taormina. Det som trekker særlig ned er hvor slitt og utdatert hotellet er. Ingen firestjerners opplevelse.

Beautiful and spacious room and balcony, the cave going to beach and pool awesome and unique, parking E27/day, but worth it. Unlike other reviews, we didn’t notice anything that needed updating. Room service on the balcony was lovely. The free shuttle bus into town center was so convenient. Staff friendly We love Taormina, and we loved this hotel!

I absolutely loved this property. Was very happy with the room accommodations, very large and spacious. Had a lovely balcony with a sea view. The pool was great, and I loved the tiered spaces for lounge chairs up above. The views were spectacular from there. The beach was also great. I would recommend water shoes since it is all stones. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Lots to choose from. All in all, this hotel is a great choice when visiting Taormina!! It has it all.

Beautiful pool and terrace area for sun tanning. The beach area is my favourite part of this hotel! Exceptional to have access to the water in this area. We will stay here again!

Everything was fantastic, relaxing at the pool with an amazing view, staff were attentive and food was great. We were celebrating a special anniversary and we booked a private boat tour through the hotel pool area staff, 200 euros, for 2hrs which included snacks, cocktail. Was not impressed, first of all, boat was late almost 1/2hr, (I think the hotel didn’t book it and called someone else (maybe a local (to come and get us) we ate a piece of melon, no other snacks and had some champagne, wasn’t able to explain certain points on our tour, was to go to Isola Bella for a stop and swim as we saw other tour boats stop and swim, my husband speaks Italian and asked him if we can stop for a swim but he said he was going to take us to a nicer place (nicer place??) Isola Bella is gorgeous. So off we went boating around with no conversation as he was on his phone most of the time, we ended up stopping at a place, which turned out to be his friends place which he had to drop something off, my asked him to take us back to Isola Bella for a swim which he did, and just take us back to the hotel. We spoke with others at the hotel and they told us that they had amazing tour guides who explained every, good snacks/cocktails, oh well, disappointed but overall hotel, staff with the exception of this it was amazing.

Location was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach and pool were amazing. Fantastic breakfast. The accommodation rooms were very tired and need a refresh. Generally the hotel is in need of maintenance and refurbishment for the amount of money you pay. A lick of paint can go a long way. Need more or a bigger bus shuttle to Taormina to accommodate the number of guests.
