”The room was clean and comfortable. Dinner at t he restaurant was great. However, the restaurant indicated it was open in the morning, but it was not open. The grounds provided lots of bird watching opportunities. ”

”This hoktel is in a fairly remote location with little around it in terms of accommodation or restaurants. That said, they do a decent job with food and drinks. Not great for vegetarian options, however. Also, no lift to the 2nd floor in the hotel, only stairs. But overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Lufra Beach Hotel. ”

”As seasoned travelers over decades, both within Australia and OS, we had high expectations for this 2-night stay which were not met, given the price point. This was not a cheap stay, but we were happy to pay for a different 'experience'. Nice area but! The obvious things included unlike what was advertised about "Free Wi-Fi. Available in the cottage" it didn't exist. We didn't even have mobile reception unless we walked to the 'Telstra pole' (their written advice in room) at next property where...
