”We absolutely would recommend "The Lodge" as your base while visting Stanley.The lodge was beautifully decorated with a quirkiness which we loved.The sunroom with its big windows framed our water views.The viewing platform for seeing the penguins at dusk was just a quick 5 minute stroll from "The Lodge" and we were able to walk around most of the quaint town and explore all its eateries and shops.”

”Very comfortable and warm. Double glazed windows on the main road side of property. Clean and crisp decor. Bit of damage to furniture and limited seating in loungeroom with a 3 seater and single for a home that can accomodate larger numbers. Needs either gas hot water or larger HW cylinder as 1 shower and hot water was out. Inconvenient if you had 6 adults staying there. ”

”Lovely property, very clean with fantastic views over Oyster Bay from most of the rooms. Walking distance to town. Open fire was cosy (we visited in June) backed up up by the split system that provided enough warmth. Entry is a bit difficult to find as google sends you around the corner & as others have noted not a property for those with major mobility issues due to steps/steep driveway.”
