”I really wanted to give this place high reviews, but unfortunately the great pluses this property has (amazing location right on the water and views) are negated by an overzelous and controling owner. Prepared to be scolded, warned and admonished for many things a paying costumer would not in other stablishments. I.e. do not take the kayak out in the beautiful bay because it could be damaged by the coral..are u serious? Why have a kayak on the property if it cant be used. Or, dont leave the AC...

”We stayed a bit over a week in a room with garden view (and two night in overwater bungalow via ebookers). Bed was good in the room with a garden view but a lot worse in the overwater bungalow, there were also many pillows, and also there were shampoo, body lotion, conditioner, three different soaps, slipper, utility kit and rain ponchos! Everything was clean and comfortable. Wonderful place and outstanding views, also hooray for taking care of the coral. Only minus was the REALLY pricey...

”Our stay at Hotel Kaveka was absolutely amazing. The beachfront bungalow-style villa was just steps from the water and only a short walk to the hotel restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay.
The hotel was worth every dollar spent, and my wife and I enjoyed some of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve seen in a long time right from the beach. If you’re looking for a relaxing, authentic Polynesian experience, this is the place to stay....

”Lovely, helpful staff see you to this ocean side bungalow with kitchen facilities, comfortable bed and great deck where you can sit and enjoy the sight of the reef. Snorkelling right from your private beach yields coral and tropical fish from the shore.
A couple of downsides: there are no staples like sugar, coffee, salt, etc in the kitchen; there is no comfortable chair so you either sit on the bed or you are upright at the table; the reception is only there for assistance for an hour or so...

”This resort is so picturesque and cute - very instagrammable. The rooms are so unique and you feel like you’re walking into a travellers personal collection of collectables. I found myself just mesmerised looking at all the items on the bookshelves. Our room was beautiful- literally felt like art. The water is lovely to swim in right at the dock.
To get around outside the resort, you definitely need a car or scooter. I would recommend this over relying on expensive taxis.
