”Would have preferred a ground floor room, as we are getting older with s/w limited mobility. But climbing the stairs was probably good for us. We asked for, and received, a late check-out time, which was very helpful.”

”This isn't the most convenient location. It took me a couple of days to feel comfortable coming and going. The area surrounding the property was very commercial, and freeway access is limited. The hallways required a good vacuuming, as did the floor in my room. The staff was the best, especially Jackson, who checked me in and remembered my name. I found it most convenient to take Uber.”
”Great quiet area! Couple streets up is Union St that is all restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and clothing shops all available. Parking was great because we have a pickup and had no issues. Front desk was very welcoming coming in and pleasant while checking out! Will be back for sure, my husband has monthly visits to the UCSF.. ”
”I’ve stayed here several times and I have recommended people to stay here. Always a lovely experience. It definitely gives a vintage feel and I love the garden area. The location is great and there’s always parking that’s accessible. It’s near a lot of outdoor activities as well as some nice bars and restaurants.”
”We took a suite which had could use a different enter/exit which turned out to be on Chestnut next to Noahs Bagel shop which we loved for breakfast in the room.
Loved the spaciousness and ambiance of the Suite - will do it again - very private and quiet. Kitchen was complete but we only used the micro & fridge - but nice to have.
Parking was tight (as is every spot in S.F.) but very safe and protective of vehicle. Parking alone is what will bring me back.

”Kokonaisuutena suhteellisen viihtyisä hotelli. Mukava sisäpiha. Hyvät yhteydet SFOon , Napa-laaksoon ja rannikolle.
Parvekkeen ikkunoita saisi kyllä pestä hieman useammin, olivat kyllä aika likaiset. Vierailijamäärään nähden aamiaisvaihtoehdot olivat niukahkot varsinkin kun niistä kuitenkin maksetaan erikseen.
Larkspurin vanhan kaupunginosan katu oli mukavan kotoisa ja ruokapaikkavaihtoehtoja riitti.”

The hotel was dated, but pretty clean. Earplugs are must. Breakfast is free, it includes coffee, bread, eggs and cereals.
The hotel bit pricey for value, but i think in SF it might be difficult to find good hotels for decent price.
Overall this is OK place for few days stay

”A wonderful gem tucked into a vibrant community. We stayed for a night to enjoy the city after work. We had a terrific pizza with an eggplant appetizer at a place 6 blocks away. The snacks in the dining room were a delightful treat. We enjoyed reading in the study. The bed was very comfortable. This place is a must stay again.
