”Expectations exceeded reality. Initially the astetics of arriving at the pub/hotel looked promising and the ambiance of the bar area pleasent with polite reception staff.The room (4) was at first site ok, but a more detailed look revealed a more dirty aspect and not as expected. The windows slatted blind very dusty, corner of the bathroom by the door, grime. Black mold in the shower around the metal shelf, the shower head holder broken and loosy fitted the drooping shower head. Under the bed...

”Check in was quick and easy , room spacious well equipped and clean , after hours access was straightforward and parking ample All staff were cheerful , helpful and attentive.The breakfast was one of the most pleasant I have had in a long time - quality ingredients , well presented and served while piping hot Well done Cley Hall”

”We upgraded for a spa suite and were not disappointed! It included a lovely sitting area, big bathroom with shower & bath and a very comfortable bed. As well as straight access into the spa area. The lady on reception was very helpful when we checked in. The room was modern, clean and really spacious. There is also a mini fridge and bits for tea, coffee & hot chocolate and bonus cookies which were a lovely extra. The spa was very busy when we stayed but we still managed to try all the areas...

”Staff were helpful on arrival.room/suite was very big. Bigger than my first flat! Whilst it had charm it was clearly an old building and it needs a little tlc but that said, it was clean and excellent value. I would stay again.”

”Very comfortable bed, clean room We stayed for 2 nights. At check-in, we did not notice the sign in reception that you need to ask for a room refresh (before noon) We needed clean cups, glasses, tbags, but we asked in the pub on the second day and all were provided. The only downside is there isn’t really anywhere in the bathroom to dry towel on a two night stay, so maybe best to ask for refresh Excellent value for money”

”Room was great, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Lovely quality toiletries and excellent to have a coffee machine. Parking was close to the room, and it was really helpful to have the little verandah overhang as it was running as we left! Only issue was lack of signage from the main road”
