”This was our second visit to this truly splendid hotel and everything was wonderful.The location is perfect with beautiful views of the lake.All staff are friendly and helpful and both restaurants serve excellent food albeit with a different ambiance. The only problem is that it spoils you for staying anywhere else !! ”

”A great hotel in a good location close to the sea with an excellent beer garden backing onto the canal. Fantastic food let down by a slow service between courses. The room was clean and comfortable although the extractor fan for the kitchen was directly outside the windows. Easy access for those who needed to leave early with a key dropbox and friendly efficient staff on reception and behind the bar. ”Perfect location for travelling around the lake and for going out in the local area. Delicious and ample breakfast, tailored to your needs with plenty of tasty options which set us up right for a long walk. ”Very pretty country location. The rooms including common rooms were all lovely. The tiny bathrooms were cramped and windowless and let the property down. Breakfasts were lovely, with lots of choice. We didn’t have dinner there, as prices were over the top, compared with what we were paying in other locations on our trip around the UK. ”

”I booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children age 10 and 5 !!! At time of booking it sais 2 double beds and was only one double to then be allocated a room with 2 double beds and had to pay extra £15 for the 2 children this is a failt with expedia and not the property as at time of booking it stated 2 double beds !!! ”
