”We loved our stay here and would like to come back. The cottage is next to the old mill and river in the heart of Tewkesbury. It has so much charm and character. Everything you need is here with lovely personal touches. Ground floor has kitchen & living room with access to the garden, although small, it was lovely to sit out here after a day being tourists. First floor has a double room and then bathroom with bath, loo and walk in shower. 2nd floor has the big bed which the host offers to split...

Staff at check-in located in nearby 'Central hotel' were friendly as was the housekeeping who needed to wake me up as I'd overslept (like I said the bed was comfortable). It's all you need without the unnecessary frills, great value, will definitely use again,”

”I arrived late at night, it was a bit of effort to find the exact place of my Room at the property site as there was no Counter Service late at night. Driveway at the rear of the Property is very rough, definitely can be improved by Owner.”

”Location was different to what's on the map (it's right next door to the New County Hotel). The apartment was lovely though, looks like it's been recently refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. £250 damage deposit seemed quite excessive. Not sure if they get a lot of trouble as housekeeping also came in during stay but didn't do any cleaning, make beds, or fold towels etc (I only knew they'd been because they folded...

”This is a lovely family run hotel which has the essential ingredient of being attentive to all guests needs. We love coming back here - so central and lovely walks nearby for our Labrador.”
