”We had an amazing stay at Hotel 131 The Promenade, recommended by a friend who also had a great experience. We opted for one of the high-end rooms, which was huge with an amazing and extremely spacious bathroom. The hotel staff were very attentive and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was very buzzy, with bars and even a DJ outside, making us feel like we were at a beach club. As a couple, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return. ”Quirky place, our room backed onto the garbage area for multiple business so it was quite loud in the morning and it seems a popular spot for loud cars at night. Overall, this place was great, don’t expect perfect, it’s very old. Walls have stains and are very dusty. But the sheets were clean and so was the bathroom. Staff is wonderfully friendly and breakfast was great. I would stay here again in a heart beat. ”

”Room was small but lovely. Very noisy at nights which we didnt mind but bare in mind when booking. Breakfast delicious both mornings. Very cluttered with junk in the corridoors and corners which doesn't look great but also could be a fire hazard? Staff really friendly. Good size car park behind. Lovely pub. Great price.”

”The hotel is easy to find, great parking, ability to eat at the hotel and sit in a nice beer garden. If you have mobility issues make sure you request ground floor room as there are lots of stairs and long corridors. I stayed in a deluxe room which was advertised as bigger than average. Overall pleasing colour decor. Tea, coffee , water . Now to be picky - the mattresses on the single beds pushed together to represent a" king size bed " need replacing . The shower area needs to be bleached....

”We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Boar. The staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable and large. The restaurant had an excellent selection of very good meals. Breakfast was good although a little early for us, it was served from 7 to 8.30. Overall we would recommend it. Very convenient for the park and ride into Stratford.”

”A really great stay, check in was smooth mid afternoon, superior room was fine with a fantastic super king bed and huge bathroom. We had supper in the bar, good food and drinks in a busy pub setting, a nice buzz and big shout out to Lewis and Sam who were so friendly and professional, a great team. Breakfast was really good, again in the bar with plenty of choices cooked to order as well as a small buffet. We will definitely return again!”

”This is a very beautiful little pub. The rooms are all unique and have their own charecters. Staff are really friendly. The continental breakfast is delivered in a picnic basket outside your room or you can have a cooked breakfast in the bar. Parking via car park is right outside and shopping is just a short walk away ”

”We really enjoyed our stay at The Bell. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. The breakfasts we had were probably up there with our best ever. Well done chef and your team! Our room was in the converted barn section which was lovely. We only had one small issue with the bathroom radiator which we couldn't switch off. We reported it and was fixed the following day. Thank you all for a wonderful stay. If we are ever in the area again we know where to stay. Thank you all. ”
