Sonesta Hotel – Texasin Meksikonlahden rannikko, Texas

”The breakfast buffet was great, fresh fruit and berries and healthy choices - was a wonderful start to the day! Special thanks to Alma and the breakfast staff- the ladies are very busy but all the time keeping a smile on their face and very kind and attentative. I had some issues with the initial check in, but special thanks to Yusal at the reception for being super accomodating and going an extra mile with keeping me happy. ”Good stuff: very clean, tidy, quiet, good breakfast, attractive lobby and pleasant looking rooms. Plenty of parking spots. Staff was kind. Overall very nice for the price and would definitely stay again. Not so good stuff: One of the elevators had a door that opens and closes very slowly and became somewhat annoying. Hot tub was not working which was very inconvenient because the main reason I booked this hotel was for the pool and hot tub.”

”There were what looked like paper things or cardboard hanging on two of the windows in front. An AC unit hanging down. A woman was laying on the couch in the lobby. Would not stay there.”

”Loved the airport shuttle and being able to get into our room early, even though it came at a cost. We didn’t eat breakfast as we had to leave to get the plane before breakfast was open. Our walk up call got us up one hour earlier than needed as the clicks changed time overnight”

”Viivyimme yhden yön ja hotelli oli siihen oikein sopiva. Hiljaiset ja asialliset huoneet, uima-allas sisällä (hyvä asia talvella) ja aamiainen keskivertoa parempi.”

”The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is newly remodeled and is clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast bar was a nice way to start the day.”
