”Only stayed for one night, but really enjoyed it. A very nice room with a balcony, breakfast really good, stunning pool with river view and professional staff. Only downsides were the lack of a gym, noisy buggy cars crossing the bridge and the near by rooster that woke us up at 5:30 am. but this seems to be the case in 90% of South-East Asian hotels.”

Downstairs there’s a small locker for your valuables, at room there is no locker. ”The Central Hotel is located on the Main Street of Vang Vieng but there’s no noise heard in the rooms. The rooms are very spacious (I had room 302) and the bed is comfortable. The only draw backs were the AC wasn’t great and there doesn’t seem to be a daily (or weekly) room clean. Besides this it was a comfortable enough stay and the staff were very helpful. There is lots of activities and plenty of restaurants on the street and Gary’s Irish Bar is 100m away ! There is a nice breakfast selection...
