”Had an excellent 3 day stay here. Beautiful location, excellent staff, and the restaurant served up delicious food as well. Slightly on the edge of town, but city center was just a 10-15 min walk away. And the hotel offers a free shuttle in if you don’t feel like walking. ”

”Only stayed for one night, but really enjoyed it. A very nice room with a balcony, breakfast really good, stunning pool with river view and professional staff. Only downsides were the lack of a gym, noisy buggy cars crossing the bridge and the near by rooster that woke us up at 5:30 am. but this seems to be the case in 90% of South-East Asian hotels.”

”The room is nice. Service are great as well as the breakfast. The view is also beautiful on the river side and from the swimming pool, it‘s really relaxing. Stay here for the second time, still love it. Only thing that should be improve is the air-con. Seemed like all the room we‘re staying this time including our friends‘ rooms, the air-con wasn‘t quite cool enough even though we‘re turning to only 18c with highest fan speed already. ”

”We loved staying here so much that we extended our stay for a few extra nights. As budget backpackers, this was perfect. It is very central but not loud at night. The owner is lovely and very accommodating. Rooms are basic but quite spacious. Breakfast is handy- eggs and bread. ”

”A great choice in Vang Vieng. The shipping container rooms are novel, comfortable, clean and cool. (I think Mr Kong is a bit of a genius.) Good AC, comfortable beds, nice showers, OK breakfast (but you'll need to grab a decent coffee nearby at Kiwi, or a 10 minute walk to wonderful Naked). The location is great. Across the river from the noisier main drag but there's a walking bridge next to the hotel. It's quiet at night. There are 3 very good restaurants nearby- the pizza place, Kiwi...

”We enjoyed our stay here tremendously. The mountain views were incredible. The breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly. The pool was very nice. Room was very clean and modern. I highly recommend Remember Hotel Vang Vien. The might be the best value in Vang Vien.”

”The Central Hotel is located on the Main Street of Vang Vieng but there’s no noise heard in the rooms. The rooms are very spacious (I had room 302) and the bed is comfortable. The only draw backs were the AC wasn’t great and there doesn’t seem to be a daily (or weekly) room clean. Besides this it was a comfortable enough stay and the staff were very helpful. There is lots of activities and plenty of restaurants on the street and Gary’s Irish Bar is 100m away ! There is a nice breakfast selection...

”Probably the most beautiful hotel in the area. Great view of the mountains and the hotel's own rice field. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bungalows are large and have comfortable beds. Unfortunately, the staff have almost no knowledge of English, which resulted in some incorrect orders. We would definitely book this hotel again. ”I had a really good time here! It was great hostel, very clean, comfortable and safe. I met many awesome travellers there, it was good place to socialize. Free whiskey everyday from 7-7.30pm! Downstairs there’s a small locker for your valuables, at room there is no locker. Only downside in my visit was this tubing tour that I booked from the lobby because I was told that I would be joining this other group (who had done some ziplining before) and that was why I booked it because there were two...

”An Oasis in a sea of concrete buildings! This place is perfect if you like traditional wooden structures with bamboo thatching set around a tranquil green courtyard with seats and hammocks, But it isn’t suitable as a party space so this should keep it as a place to read after a day doing adventure activities It is just a short walk to the main section of town with key restaurants including a super popular vegan one but lots of excellent meat options if that’s your preference and directly across...
