”I can’t think of anything negative aside from the lift that is very slow but it didn’t matter, I love taking the stairs. Service was great, place is immaculate, our server, Will, was very engaging and easy to get to pubs and restaurants as well. Also, if you’re not driving, you can just walk from the train station. The walk is ten minutes but it will feel that you’re just walking in a park. Absolutely lovely! I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay there again.”

”Stayed here while going to a friends wedding in the local area. Created to really friendly staff and check in was a breeze. The room was compact but had everything we needed, comfy bed and even a little hamper with slippers, teas coffee and milk. Hotel is above a pub though there’s a separate entrance so coming and going was easy. Would recommend if you’re near by.”

”Excellent stay, breakfast was lovely, also had a veggie option for full English. Bed was really comfortable I slept better there than I do at home. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meal was delicious. As previous reviews have said it is a little dated and worn in places, but it felt like the seaside b&b of yesteryear. We will definitely visit again.”

”Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!) We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty. Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked. Would definitely recommend if you are staying on the Isle...

”The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area.”
