”The service of the staff was excellent and car parking is free. However, the plug sockets next to the bed required moving the bedside tables, so if you want to use any electrical devices whilst in bed, you had to use the sockets across the room. The toilet positioned in the room were too close to the wall and the handles to open the windows were loose and call fall out anytime. ”

”Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. ”Almost outside the front drive there are bus stops which is handy as The Tyndall is located on a steepish hill leading to Bear Flat above Bath where there are local shops and a pub. quite easy on the eye. It's nicely decorated throughout and kept very clean. Our room was on the ground floor and fitted with a kingsize Hypnos bed which was very comfortable indeed. The staff are very attentive and keen to help. ”

”This hotel is not 5 star, it’s more like1 star. It’s very worn, poor quality furnishings and overall is extremely tired. I recently booked and when I arrived and saw the room refused to stay. The hotel wouldn’t refund or even make a gesture so do not book non refundable. I was allocated room 8 and it was like the worst B&B from the 80’s.
