Huvilat – The Blue Mountains

”The receptionist was far from hospitable and unprofessional. The room upon checking hard a strong smell of curry and the beds had squeaky exposed wooden frames. The gym was ridiculously small and could nearly fit one person with little or not much space to work in. I would never make the mistake of visiting or booking for a stay. My family remains terrified of this experience.”

”Great location. Short walk to coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. Situated on the harbour with nice views of the water. Rooms are well equipped and clean but this property is showing its age. The rooms are dated and dark. Carpets stained and furniture needs replacing. No central air just window air conditioning units. Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming.”

”Stayed for 1 night with 3 of us - standard 2 queen beds room, spacious and comfortable to us. Had a balcony to enjoy. It does get busy and the hot tub was quite full when we wanted to use it an hour before closing time - It is summer, so I don't expect anything less. We were really looking forward to eating at the on-site restaurant, but it had a event happening the day we were checking out, so that means I'll have to come back to try it out. ”Overall great stay, just the return air vents dirty and carpet a bit musty, maybe disinfect the couches and pull out sofa. They smelled musty. Need a new BBQ, but overall It was a great location and stay. thanks”
