”Perfectly location and a beautiful hotel.”

”Bathrooms had a handicap, walk in shower with detachable shower head. Great for all! And safer too. Lobby Coffee/tea service needs to be available at times posted. I was there at 7 am and had to wait until 7:30 for coffee and had meetings on the Hill at 8 am.”

”This hotel was one of my favorites when it was still the mandarin oriental. It just doesn’t have that same class and grace anymore. The staff are not well trained and everything takes an excessively long time. The food in the lounge was terrible. The cocktails were the same as a pub and lacked craft. Turn down service was completely skipped for me, so I had to call to get additional water and coffee pods. The tv’s do not have chromecast or app capabilities, leaving you with basic cable options....

”Fantastic in every way. The location could not have been better for exploring the city, the staff was incredibly helpful and the amenities were above-and-beyond. Clean comfortable rooms (with robes!), evening walks around the capital, and great food downstairs and within walking distance. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

”The hotel was clean and new. However, service was not good. I needed to call the reception and had to speak to a bot who could not understand my request and could not speak with a real person. We ordered room service which was totally overpriced. A small burger came in a plastic container with wobbly plastic cutlery.”

”Easily the worst Thompson I’ve stayed at. Staff was lovely and tried their best, but it’s understaffed to a level I’ve never seen. You can’t get a drink late at night, the only television is at the rooftop bar which only serves bar food (phenomenal smoked wings, but the worst lobster roll I’ve ever had). Breakfast restaurant has good food but nobody to deliver room service so it shows up cold. Never saw more than one person at the check-in desk. Hyatt should just sell this property and start...

”Probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in Absolutely everything was 5 star from arrival and recognising our sons 21st birthday, then fabulous king rooms with a view we would never tire of; the rooftop bar Moonraker took our breath away, the pool is akin to a luxury beach club. Food was delicious; amazing array of drinks and cocktails, staff were consistently helpful & thoughtful, the little extras made it a memorable me experience. Add to all of that the location at the heart of the Wharf...

”Excellent location central to all DC has to offer. The lobby is very grand and impressive and staff was helpful every step of the way. The rooms were just ok for this level of hotel - water pressure was low, the thermostat did not work and room was unbearably hot, and the mattress was extremely soft - ok for some, but not my personal preference. Some minor tweaks, a bit more of room amenities (emery board, shower cap) and this could be a five star”
