Mökki Lowellissä!

Lowellin hytti on täydellinen paikka irrottaa ja rentoutua. Tämä äskettäin uusittu (vuonna 2019) mökki / talo sijaitsee 30 hehtaarin harrastustilalla, josta on näkymät 4 hehtaarin lampille, nautojen ja kanojen laiduntamiseen, joulukuusitilalle, heinänpelloille, hedelmätarhaan ja runsaasti villieläimiä. 12 helpon mailin päässä Mankadosta, 6 mailia Lake Crystaliin ja 15 Madelia MN: ään, pääsee helposti HWY 169: ltä. Mökki sopii erinomaisesti perhelomailuun, tytöille / pojille viikonloppuna. Tämä on erittäin yksityinen sijainti on lähellä järviä, pyöräteitä, jokia, Minneopan osavaltion puistoa, ostosmahdollisuuksia, ravintoloita, paikallisia panimoita ja viinitilat. Tulisijakuopan ulkopuolella (polttopuut mukana), hiiligrilli (puuhiiltä ei toimiteta).
Mökissä on 3 makuuhuonetta ja parvi. 1 king-vuode pääkerroksen makuuhuoneessa ja TV, yläkerran makuuhuoneissa on yksi makuuhuone, jossa 1 queen-vuode, toisessa makuuhuoneessa 2 täysikokoista vuodetta. Parvella on 2 sänkyä ja 1 täysi sänky. Keski-ilmastointi, pakkoilmauuni.
Pääkerrokseen pääsee vammaisille. Pohjakerroksen kylpyhuoneessa on suihkukaappi, yläkerran kylpyhuoneessa on 4 jalkaa istuva suihku. Keittiössä on kaikki tarvitsemasi astiat, kattilat, pannut ja astiat, täysikokoinen jääkaappi, astianpesukone, kaasuliesi, kahvinkeitin / suodattimet. Pesukone ja kuivausrumpu käytettävissäsi. Antenni-TV, WIFI, DVD-soitin.
Suuri kiedottava kansi, josta pääsee makuuhuoneesta ja ruokailutilasta, pieni yläkerra parven alueelta, josta on upeat näkymät alueelle. Tilava piha, jossa palokaivo, keinutetti ja pihapelit. Hiljainen lukualue parvella sekä pöytä ja korttipelejä tai lautapelejä. Kortteja, joitain lautapelejä, kirjoja ja DVD-levyjä omaan käyttöön (sekä aikuisille että lapsiystävällisille).
Lapset tervetulleita; syöttötuoli ja pack-n-play saatavana.
Suuri pysäköintialue. Ulkopinta on hyvin valaistu runsaalla ulkovalolla. Savu- ja CO-ilmaisimet, sammutin, ensiapu. Kellarikerroksen ulkopuolella pääsy huonoihin sääolosuhteisiin.

We enjoyed our stay on the property. It was close to mankato and minneopa state park, and also offered solitude and a comforting cabin. The hosts are extremely thoughtful and provided a wonderful stay for our family.

The Cabin at Lowell is such a peaceful, quiet country setting. My husband and I and anther couple stayed at the cabin. Each couple had comfortable beds and private bathrooms. It was just right. Our favorite spot at the cabin was the screened in porch. We watched the chickens, even named a few, watched the sun go down behind the trees and all without pesky bugs! We walked the paths on the property, the gravel road…such a perfect spot for us. We played golf in nearby St Peter and North Mankato. We took one full day and went to see the Rapidan Dam site, Minneopa State Park’s Bison Drive and Falls. Then up to New Ulm for a Schnell’s brewery tour followed by dinner at Kaiserhoff’s and a visit to see Herman the German. Back to our cozy cabin and an adult beverage on the screened in porch….the best day! Carl and Ann are wonderful hosts. We wish them the best. I would definitely visit again.

This is the first time we rented a home and we were pleasantly surprised. The home was fully stocked with towels, dishes, paper products, etc. There were trails and plenty of yard for activities, as well as playground equipment for our grandchildren. The home was very private and had a beautiful scenic view with a pond that was such a pleasure to wake up to each morning. The home also had plenty of beds and bedrooms to accommodate our family. Ann and Carl were just a text away and were available if we needed them. We are definitely planning another stay here. Thanks

The host was super friendly and stopped by on the first day for a quick meet and greet and to answer any questions we may of had. The place was super cute and they didn’t cut corners with supplies. Plenty of tp, towels and kitchen necessities. Morning coffee was made more enjoyable by watching the birds at the feeders and chickens roaming the property. We visited Minneopa State Park during our stay.

This was our second stay with one year. Absolutely a wonderful facility inside and out for our family vacation. We love the open kitchen, dining room and living room. The kitchen is well-stocked with lots of counter space that made cooking family breakfasts and spaghetti with meatballs dinner enjoyable. And even though the 4th of July was hot and humid, we had a small fire to roast hot dogs and marshmallows for smores. Our 12 year old grandson loved the chickens and horses and the onsite playground. Lake Crystal is close by and we were happy to find Kevin's Market open late on the holiday. Mankato was also close enough for a trip to the Cinemark River Hills Mall movie theater on such a hot day. We will definitely return to the Cabin in Lowell. One of our favorite rentals in Minnesota.

Great stay in the country

We enjoyed our stay, we spent a few weeks. The property was everything we needed. We enjoyed the wildlife, rabbits, deer, lots of birds, frogs chirping at night, lightning bugs. A few flys, mosquitos were not bad, the frogs must eat well! Carl and Ann were great hosts, available but not intrusive. Highly recommended!

Girls Reunion

We stayed a weekend in May and had a wonderful time! The cabin was well stocked and clean. The layout of bedrooms and sleeping space was perfect. The decor is interesting (even an “eye spy” game to find unique pieces of artifacts throughout the cabin, leading to fun conversation starters). We enjoyed walking and hiking the grounds, the owners, Ann and Karl, were so welcoming and responsive. We hope to be back again!

Just a beautiful property. They've thought of everything. The hosts were terrific, and our family had an amazing time. Not sure how they managed to control the weather, but the trip couldn't have been more perfect. 5 stars and I strongly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a nice family getaway.

Relaxing getaway!

My husband and I stayed with another couple and had a great time. Plenty of space for multiple couples, comfy beds, everything you need to cook there. It was a great spot for a weekend away to relax and unwind. Beautiful property that we enjoyed walking around and exploring. Very peaceful and relaxing! The owners stopped by and checked in with us and were incredibly kind and accommodating.

Pool tournament getaway

This is the absolute perfect place to relax as a group. We came for a pool tournament and its nice to get away from the busy town and relax in this peaceful environment. Hosts are wonderful and easy to get ahold of if anything is needed.

Wonderful, relaxing stay

This was the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing getaway. We came with the intentions to ski at Mt. Kato but due to unseasonably warm temps that didn’t happen. But this is a perfect place to stay if looking to do so, close and spacious. The property is large and we were encouraged to explore it, this was a highlight for sure! There is also a playground for the kids and chickens. Inside there was plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out and a variety of sleeping options. There were games and books but our favorite was the Cabin at Lowell seek and find book, very fun and unique. Carl and Ann were great hosts, easy to contact and gave good tips for the area. We enjoyed Minneopea State Park, Mom & Pop’s ice cream in Mankato and a beer at Lost Sanity brewery. We hope to make it back for some actual skiing this winter!

Great Stay

Nice quiet place. Owners are kind. The place was very unique and comfortable. Cooking with a gas oven was a forst for me, but got the hang of it. Really liked how remote it is. Short drive to Mt. Kato and Mankato.

Memory Making Thanksgiving

The Cabin at Lowell was the perfect setting for our 4 generation Thanksgiving get together. The generous sized bedrooms and loft area were exactly as pictured and gave each family there own space. The two bathrooms were well stocked with wonderfully fluffy bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. The handicap accessible 1st floor bathroom was especially appreciated by my elderly parents. The kitchen is completely stocked with all of the amenities you'd find in your own home plus more! It was a delight to play familiar board and card games which provided. Nestled just south of Mankato the Cabin at Lowell was very convenient. Even though it was cold outside, that did not deter my 4 year old great nephew from finding joy using the swingset, merry-go-round and visiting the chicken coop and waving at the resident horses! Carl and Ann were very gracious and attentive hosts. We hope to gather as an extended family again at the Cabin at Lowell.

Fabulous Stay

We had everything we needed and more: fans, binoculars, extra blankets, fire pit, and so much more! Everything was very clean and organized. The land around the cabin was so spacious and beautiful to walk around. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing area, and Carl and Ann were so kind. I plan to keep it in mind for future friends and/or family getaways.

Fabulous Family Fun

WOW! By far one of the best properties and homes we have visited in the past 10 years. Secluded property, wildlife, scenery and location met all our expectations. And the chickens are so very fun! The cabin is spacious and comfortable. One of the best stocked kitchens of many rentals, which is very appreciated since we like to eat in for breakfasts and dinners. Ann and Carl are very gracious and friendly while respecting our privacy. We took advantage of suggested local businesses including the Lakes Sports Bar & Grill in Lake Crystal and Lost Sanity Brewing in Madelia - both very good! Schell's Brewery in New Ulm is not far and Younger Brothers capture site in Madelia was an interesting historic site. We will definitely return to the Cabin in Lowell.
