”Very nice place to stay. Very friendly and accommodating staff without exception. Food in general was good, and Sunday lunch was exceptional. Room was comfortable although decor was a little tired. Well situated in Cheddar. Only caveat - the room was at the front and the traffic noise from the road was extremely loud. Earplugs were provided but I struggle to sleep with those things. But I would go back so overall a positive relaxing weekend.”

”The property is in a quiet cul de sac of the village. Note there are street lights in the cul de sac but none in the village. You need a torch. The place was clean. Good sized bathroom. Well equipped kitchen especially if you want to cook for yourself. The cottage is an ideal base for visiting the area with many attractions a short drive away. There is no where to eat within walking distance but the 2 local pubs are a short walk and the locals are very friendly. As we were there for a week...

”Perfect central location to visit Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, the seaside and Bath. The accommodation was extremely well maintained and presented. A quiet location situated within a riding school, so perfect for those with an interest in horses but not affected by it being a working stable. The kitchen was particularly well equipped with good quality pots, pans and crockery and the host even provided washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, milk and even cake! A very nice...

”Arrived pretty late but a warm welcome from the staff, the complimentary drink on arrival was well received and nice surprise. We stayed in the Langford Room which was amazing, lovely a clean, nice little things like the cookies and a welcome personalised note. Miles was excellent, spent time chatting with us and telling us about the area and where to go. Would highly recommend and will definately be back ”

”Was okay. The building was archaic and awkward but comfortable enough. Made use of the steam room and also ate supper, both of which were decent experiences. Not sure how much id recommend it but I suppose at the price we paid, it was a reasonable experience.”
