”Beautiful, comfortable boutique hotel stay with exceptional staff. Marie was wonderful, acquainted us with the history of the Castle and the wonderful hotel amenities. She even assisted us with extending our stay. Can’t wait to return for a summer visit! 5 star and a highlight of our South Wales adventure!”

”The service was great, though my suggestion is that it is difficult to pair with an extended stay when you booked a short stay. The long-stay owners were extremely loud on the last day. Overall, a three-star from me, just because the service was good.”

”We had a great stay. The free breakfast was good. When you book they need to give you directions, such as after last roundabout on A40 from Hwest drive 5 miles and turn right. There are no signs on A40. Katy the receptionist is AWESOME. Katy informed us of some great off the beaten path places to go.”

”Beautifully remodeled seaview room. Appreciated the nice shower and toiletries. Breakfast was provided the evening before in a cooler. All needed items were thoughtfully provided. Self-check in and out easy and the directions were clear. Dinner in the pub was also quite tasty.”

”Pleasantly surprised, wouldn’t have thought to choose a YHA in the past but price for a private en-suite room was very reasonable. Cafe on site, well stocked kitchen for self-catering, free parking and short walk to the beach. Later check in than I’m used to (5pm) was the only downside. ”

”The room was good size and quiet . We eat in the hotel at night the meal was ok the chips were a little well done. We had breakfast the next morning my self and my friend went for eggs Benedict it was ok but cold we both commented on the fact . My husband had the buffet breakfast and he had the eggs cooked,but when he went to the buffet it was empty and had the last sausage and the rest was dried up .The coffee was a machine that didn’t work ( the lady made the coffee for us ) the tea was...

” Had a great stay the hotel was excellent, staff were friendly, and everything felt really well looked after. What stood out most was their commitment to using Welsh products and supporting Wales. It’s exactly the kind of thing more places should be doing.”

”The rooms were lovely, warm and clean. Having a dog bed and food bowls was a lovely touch. The fridge was useful and we have plenty of space. The bed was very comfy. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fried bread!! The staff were amazing, we wished we could have stayed longer! ”
