”We stayed at the resort for two nights as a surprise gift to my wife on her 65th birthday. I choose a superior room with a hot tub on the balcony. The suite was well appointed and lovely by design. The spa was first-rate. Expedia gave us a food credit for dining, which leads me to our major disappointment with the Brentwood Bay Resort. In all of its marketing materials, the resort claims to be world-class. However, for both of our nights the fine dining room was closed for dinner. What? We only...

”Apartment was spotless. Comfy bed. The washer and dryer were a key attraction mid vacation for us! They even provided detergent. Would suggest 2 things—add a grab bar in the shower, and replace the frosted glass front door with a steel security door. ”

”Would have been nice to know the pool and gym cost $50 to use. A hot tub after a cool round of golf would have been fantastic. Rolling in at 8 and being asked to pay $50 to hot tub for an hour is a tough pill to swallow ”

”This place is clean and the staff was very friendly. It was.a great location for us. 20 minutes to Victoria and 30 minutes to Sydney and Butchart Gardens. The food was good. The bar was OK. The TV stations were very limited. Hot tub and pool were great. The steam sauna would not stay hot.”

”If you’re looking for a nice hotel in downtown Victoria, this is the place to stay. Newly renovated rooms super comfortable bed Nespresso machine a fridge. The staff are a fantastic and most have been there for 10+ years. The gym has everything you need while away. The pool was fun, but did have a very strong chlorine smell. We loved the happy hour pricing at the bar every day and the restaurant is great too.”

”Great location Staff were very friendly and helpful Room was clean. Ground floor room had a low ceiling and bathroom very small Sofa bed was very uncomfortable for even a small adult. I would request a room on an upper floor next time”

”​We enjoyed our stay at Huntingdon Manor. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the Inner Harbour and the ferry terminal. The property itself is charming and has a lot of character, though the rooms are a bit outdated and could definitely use some modernizing. That said, everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were wonderful. A solid 4-star choice if you prefer charm over brand-new furniture.”

”Located in the heart of downtown makes easy access, walking distance or moderate uba rides to most places of interest. Building is clean, nicely cooling air conditioning, bathroom is superb and spacious with heated floor. Staff are courteous. I recommend.”

”Room was very clean, loved the little kitchenette and was able to cook a few times and have room for food in the fridge. The hottub was disappointing due to it needing a good clean and the water really causing a gross brownish scum when the jets were turned on.”
