”Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again.”

”It's misleading to say you provide breakfast when the only breakfast is make it yourself. The only thing on offer was stale cereals and bread that I had to cut the mould off. The toilet doesn't flush properly and the shower doesn't drain properly but it was a good shower. There was no food available in the restaurant. It also states it provides parking. It doesn't.”

”We stayed at Waterland Farm as a family of 9 (plus 1 dog) for a long weekend break and it was brilliant. The house is very spacious with lots of facilities, including a toy room for the kids, a PS /x-box and old-school vinyl record player. The outdoor area is massive and the kids loved the football goal and playground. As it states the field isn’t secure for a dog as there are open areas but she still enjoyed a run around. Overall a great place to stay and we would return! ”

”There,was only one lift for the whole hotel which was,a really old one and only held 4 people.Our room was,not cleaned or wet towels replaced until we complained of tea tray filled up or bin empties.We had to complain on three r Occasions.There,were no bed side lights so if you got out in the night you had,to fumble for a switch.So had,to buy a torch ,.a A notice said it bathroom floor gets set it is,slippery.Surely bathroom flooring should be slip proof.Bathroom was cramped with a ridiculous...

”Our 2nd stay at the Sailors Rest...Nice room with fantastic views & a huge king size bed... Great shower & mini fridge with fresh milk & water ...nice touch. Happy with our 1 night stay in Beautiful Appledore & hopefully will return to the Sailors Rest in the future.”

”I searched for a property with parking, but it's only street parking. The road to the property is very dangerous to get in/out of, and parking difficult (I not a nasty note from a neighbour because I parked in front of their garden path. Wouldn't stay here again because of road and parking - but if you're not driving, it's a lovely property. Public path right along property - hope you're not bashful when in the shower!”
