Bad Hotel as per name
After one delayed and one cancelled flight I booked a room from this place. I booked it because all hotels in Amsterdam were full due to storm weather around the airport. What a huge mistake it turned out to be.
Took a 100€ taxi drive to Noordwijk just to notice that the door is locked. First I thought it's not a problem and called the hotel number. Turned out that the guy answering the phone was sitting in another (fully booked) hotel and told me that reception workers had already gone home. There should've been keys left for me but nope. Asked if he could at least call me a taxi - not possible. Instead he listed some hotels nearby which turned out to be also full.
At least the owners have some sense of humour to name it Bad Hotel. They actually don't have anyone able to come to hotel during night if something happens.
Anyway still, I will definitely book a stay there later this summer just to see the people behind this re-invention of customer service and helpfulness.
