”Wonderfully located in a natural setting and in short driving distance to several National Trust properties and only 30 to 45 minutes to Brighton. This is a great location if you want to combine a trip to the coast with spending time in the nature. Rooms are simple, but comfortable and the breakfast tasty and plentiful. There is a small indoor pool, including a steam room and sauna. I would definitely stay here again but hopefully the next time get a room where the television isn’t broken.”

”We stayed one night in their cheapest room before catching a flight from Gatwick. The hotel is located within a very short drive from the airport. The room was located in an annex and had its own entrance. The room had a nice decor, but unfortunately you could tell immediately that the carpet hadn't been hoovered. The room had some nice touches, e.g good brand shower products, but other than that nothing special. Ok for our need for just one night. The main building is beautiful though, and they...

”It’s a picturesque old pub with an extensive garden area and a large parking space. It’s quite classy indoors and we were impressed by both the sophisticated dinner menu and the food itself - very good.We were welcomed warmly and shown to the Cowdray Room, which opens on to the beer garden. That wasn’t a problem as the pub closes at 10, and then it was an advantage as we were able to sit outside for breakfast with the place to ourselves. The pub will cook breakfast but not until 10.30 am, so...
