”The room was beautiful and clean. Very good amenities, including an ironing board and an iron which is a rare treat! The staff were great and it was nice to have the pub downstairs. Breakfast was exceptional 👌 cooked to order.”

”Great stay here as a mum and daughter. Room, facilitates and food were excellent. The gardens are beautiful with peacocks everywhere. The males were fanning out their beautiful tail feathers! Only downfall was the poor water pressure in the rooms shower and horrific noise it made after about 5 mins of it running! Sounded like an airplane taking off!”

”A nice stay, with a very good breakfast. A few maintenance issues in the bedroom which needed addressing with a paint brush, and some cleaning issues, which were loose cotton threads from the sheets scattered everywhere. Simple stuff to do to get 5 stars, and to ensure standards are as they should be.”

”Room was dated. Bed covers had some sort of old make up stain. Same with one of the towels. Wife found fake eyelashes in one of the bedside drawers. Hotel was in a nice location. Great pub across the road”

”On arrival noticed air con not working in room spoke with Sophie on reception who said that she would get maintenance to come and sort it out. Reminded about an hour later “yes, all in hand” Went out for the evening, came back and you guessed it, not been sorted, boiling hot and not helped by being on the top floor. Building is tired, bar staff in garden serve you like they are doing you a favour. Breakfast is good and staff in there really helpful.”

”We had a brief overnight stay but it was all we needed it to be. There were some local options for eating as well as in the hotel and the breakfast was nice enough. The staff were friendly when we interacted with them. The room was standard for The Holiday Inn and comfortable enough. There were plenty of car parking spaces but there is a charge for overnight parking.”

”If you like traditional English Breakfast, you will be happy. Staff was very welcoming and effective to address any issues. The rooms are fairly small.”

”This was my second and last time in this hotel. The first room didn’t have hot water and after the reception gave me another room, the bathtub plug didn’t work. When asking for someone to help with the bathtub plug, the reception registered the request, however no one ever came to see the issue. Having purchased the room in this hotel specifically because of bathtub access, I unfortunately did not get the value I expected. ”
