”The owners greeted me on arrival at this lovely guesthouse and showed me to my room. The bed was very comfortable. It is an old building so quirky room sizes but beautifully renovated and maintained. Good shower clean bathroom. Great home cooked breakfast. I would definitely stay again”

”We stayed in a "POD" located in the ground. The pod was well appointed with good decor. The kitchen area contained a fridge, dishwasher, oven and hob, complete with crockery, cooking utensils and cutlery all you need for a comfortable stay. The shower room was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable too. The restaurant provided a good menu at reasonable prices.”

”Very friendly staff, clean and tidy. Good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Probably the best one we have stayed in in Scarborough and we have stayed in quite a few! Unfortunately unable to access the restaurant for dinner as fully booked, but breakfast was delicious and well presented. Will definitely return.”

”Hotel very clean . Staff helpful. Breakfast brilliant. Only downside to this hotel is not enough parking for the rooms . For one night stay ended up paying £18 for parking car in other car parks”

”The included breakfast was fantastic. Many options and the fresh fruit salad was good quality. Clean and useful bedroom and bathroom with comfy bed and duvet. We had 6 flights of stairs to our room which was fine and expected. The location is a long way from the seaside action but again, expected.”

”A nice hotel with a good sized room, very nice staff & good parking. The hotel is perhaps in need of some modernisation in terms of bathroom facilities, room temperature control & outside areas but has a nice location and aspect.”

”On arrival there waa no parking, but the manager directed us to an NCP carpark which was helpful. The staff were friendly. However, the room was very tired and dusty. Dust on all the skirting boards, particularly on the shelf in the bathroom, near bed, under bed. Just needs a good clean. Everything was tired and needs an upgrde. Was certainly not worth £150 per night, room only.”

”- The shale beach across the road was the most amazing I have ever seen. - The menu is misleading. My husband wanted NO ALCOHOL beer because he is allergic to alcohol. The NO ALCOHOL beer on the menu said 0.0% alcohol. What arrived was what the waitress said was NO ALCOHOL but it actually was 0.5% alcohol. We sent it back, and I did tell the waitress the menu was incorrect and that she should mention it to management, but she did not seem interested in doing anything about it.”
