”Had questions about arriving on the Queen's funeral day but my message or email were never answered. During Sunday or holiday found it a bit difficult to reach the staff as either there were no one there or phone was off. So I would say communication didn't work the best way. Otherwise no problems, great location, so near to train station and also near to the castle. We walked easily to every place in Warwick town centre and its surroundings. ”I arrived at the property, which is a self check in in facility. I had recieved no notofication of codes for entry so had to call the help number. I was told my room number and recieved a text with code. On locating the room, it was already open and had not been serviced after the previous occupant. i called help again and the needed to wait around 30 minutes for the arrival of staff and the room prepared for me. Once i got in the room, the door handle fell off on the inside. Not impressed at...

”Friendly staff, on-site parking. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Narrow staircase, no lift do big or heavy suitcases could be a challenge. Breakfast was good!”

”A very nice place and excellent pub food. We stayed in the "annex" across the street from the pub. As they warned, the staris were steep, so those with mobility issues may have trouble. The room was large and the bathroom was good. We only requested room cleaning once during our 6-night stay. The only minor issue was it seemed the common hallways and our room floor was not vacummed. All other services were excellent. We would definitely return to the Rose & Crown.”

Two double bedrooms, very spacious and nice and quiet. Be aware that the rooms are in an apartment style building (bit like Butlins) across the car park. ”We had a love 2 night stay in The Old Coffee Tavern. The staff are all very friendly and helpful The bed was very comfortable and a good size, we both slept really well Good generous tea, coffee and milk. Normally you just get enough for 2 teas or coffees each but we had about twice this which was really good. The bar has a good atmosphere with good selection of food and drink. It does need a general overhaul with the skirting coming away in some areas and a general redecoration”

”All staff polite and helpful, although they need more staff , front main doors could do with being automatic as its hard to push while carting your luggage through, meals were good ( can recommend omelette) . Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff regardless of how busy they were”
