”This is a small and unique property, with a very welcoming staff. It is a "throw back" to the times when hotels were a special place and not a chain commodity. The rooms were large and well appointed. The hotel is close to the Vieux Carre, but far enough away from the madness of Bourbon Street. Our room had the best hotel shower ever - which says a lot about the quality of the property in general. I would not hesitiate to stay there again.”

”Huone oli siisti ja tilava. Kylpyhuone hieman vanhanaikainen kylpyammeineen ja suihkuverhoineen, mutta siisti. Jenkkityyliin suihkussa ei ollut käsisuihkua. Käytävät olivat tyylikkäät. Aula ja alakerta erittäin tyylikkäät takkoineen ja joulukoristeineen sekä myöhemmin Mardi Gras -koristeineen. Aamupalabuffetti oli erittäin hyvä! Mansikat olivat erityisen makeita. Uima-allasosastolla (sisällä) oli lämmintä ja tunnelmallinen valaistus. Uima-allasosastolla oli uima-allas, poreallas sekä sauna....
