When I arrived to check in, I was handed my rooms key and told, "we have overbooked and as far as rooms go, you get what you get." I had prepaid for a king bed room. I received a double bed room. When I pressed the issue, I was told there were other hotels nearby if I wasn't going to take what I was given. I then asked about a late checkout. I was quickly told that would not be an option even though I had spoken to someone two days prior about it and they said it was something they could easily do for my stay. When we got to our room, the bathroom was below par on cleanliness. There was even a roach smashed in one of the hanging pictures.
I contacted Expedia support about these issues. They contacted hotel management on my behalf. Hotel management did nothing to rectify or compensate for anything.
While that part was not a good experience, the morning desk staff were a lot more polite and did grant my late checkout request. There is a good fresh breakfast with lots of options. The hotel is also in a great location where you can easily walk to many destinations.
