”Lovely and simple check in , great communication , lovely apartment. ”

”The hotel is incredible! We were greeted at the front desk by friendly staff who were very helpful in storing our luggage until our check in time and pointing the way to the bus station so we could explore Hadrian’s Wall that morning. Upon our return we were greeted by more friendly staff and directed to our room. When we opened the door our reaction was “Wow! What a great place!” The rooms were spacious and decorated beautifully. Tea, crumpets, local jam, and other accompaniments were laid out...

”Friendly very clean and had good selection of towels and good range of tea and coffee with buscuits much better than some chains which are mean, the car park was off site but took my car reg details and so that i was not charge at the car park beind other building accross the road. see if this is the case”

”A tired hotel which does the job. It all needs a good deep clean, and a refresh to be totally honest. Great location and excellent staff.”

”This is a hard review to right as it appears staff there work and I hesitate try their best to help maintain “the flogging of a dying horse”. On arrival the car park is pot holed and camera driven parking fine so make sure your reg no in system within 10 mins. It’s obvious the building is deteriorated showing age wear and previous leaks in ceilings. Surprisingly room was ok , clean sheets , towels, hot water etc but again no real comfort. Breakfast was buffet but quality , care & presentation...

”Staff are excellent go above and beyond breakfast very tasty and no rush to finish parking could be better if people didn’t block the entrance room not the cleaners fault but there was a hole in the duvet cover and the net curtains were shabby”

”Recently refurbished, rooms were clean and fresh and kept the original features of the property. Bathroom was lovely and bath a great size although did miss the option of grabbing a quick shower. Bathroom needs a blind or curtain please otherwise stunning room.”

”I stayed for one night and appreciated having an affordable place close to the station, with plenty of shops nearby. I was also happy to find a kettle with coffee and tea, which made for a fresh and pleasant morning. The only downside was that there was no hand soap or shampoo provided, which would have made the stay more comfortable. Overall, I’m satisfied with what I received for the price and happy with my stay”
