”Room and facility clean. Breakfast options good. Bed very comfy. Hot water cannister not working for tea in lobby. Refilled and pump part not working. Shower drain backed up, flooded at feet over ankles. Pool only opens at 2 pm! Most staff very nice. ”

”The room and king size bed were very comfortable. Bathroom was very narrow but we survived! Air conditioning was powerful which was excellent.”

”Staying at Residence Inn is always nice because rooms are like apartment units. They are spacious and have everything you need for a flexible and comfortable stay. There were some imperfections in cleanliness with our unit at the Orangeburg location, but we didn’t complain since we were checked in early. Front desk staff were very kind and helpful as well. Although there aren’t too many hotel options in the area, we will likely stay here again the next time we visit.”

”The hotel was clean, the room was beautiful but unfortunately the walls are so paper thin. I heard every single thing next door. You really do need to speak quietly and it was frustrating trying to sleep.”

”The room was clean. There is not a breakfast buffet. There is not a pool. There is a gym. They say convince area but no one working the area. The registration people were always busy. Music blasting in the lobby and because it’s pet friendly there were dogs barking at all hours. Only two towels for a family of four.”

”My husband’s ring went missing from the room. the experience that followed was deeply disappointing. Management offered no meaningful assistance, no solutions, and not even an apology. The lack of concern and accountability was disheartening. Based on our experience, we would not choose to stay at this property again, nor would we consider staying at ANY Sonesta hotel in the future.”

”I booked a room with three separate beds for three senior citizen men. The room was not provided, only room available was a King and fold out coach. They did provide a fold out bed. This was unacceptable and we asked for a second room and was told that they were completely sold out. The empty garage and sparse crowd at breakfast the next day makes me question that.”

”Breakfast and coffee included would have made a difference. The hotel was also very cold. They adjusted it by the second night but it was unnecessarily over-chilled. Otherwise, very nice rooms.”

When I arrived on Friday night , the front desk agent gave us a king sides bed, I had made reservations for multiple beds. ”Horrible service”

”Room was semi-clean. Furniture was worn and lamp was broke. None of the ice machines worked except for the one on the main floor. The vending machines only took dollar bills no credit cards and only $1 or $5 and the front desk did not have change. Not alot to watch on TV unless you paid for it. Front desk staff was very nice.”

”Elevators are very slow. Rest is great. Close to a trail near Hudson. Very nice walk even if it is sunny outside. Shaded by trees. Food mart in a small town near this trail (30 min walk) is also good for small shopping.”
