”Beautiful property, decorated and appointed to a high standard. Great spot to retire to after a long day exploring the area. Breakfast was spot on and just what we needed to set us up for the next day's adventures too. Sam and her Mum, Carole, were very welcoming and gave us some outstanding tips that made our days out even better. Thank you very much.”

”I was unable to use my booking as i had 2 funerals to attend. My daughters came instead. They said mum you would have hated it stank everywhere of dogs and they were in the dining room. It seems you are more dog friendly than people friendly”

”Lovely and convenient place to stay. Unfortunately we were in the top room where the ceilings/ beams are very low so room didn’t feel ‘deluxe’ as advertised. Also my husband banged his head in the night on the beams (he’s on 5’ 9’.”

”Our overall stay was nice but our room was too hot with no heating controls. We opened the window to solve the problem but…. then were woken up early both mornings with deliveries on day 2 and the Sunday market being set up on day 3 - both from about 5.30am”

”Beautiful hotel, rooms are just stunning and have you everything you could need. They even have little extra add ons in the corridors such as marshmallows for the fire, bath oils etc. Staff were all very friendly and polite. Could not recommend enough”

Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small. There were no shelves or anywhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. ”
