”I was headed to Grand Isle for a birding trip and stayed overnight in Golden Meadow
as the hotels on the Island were expensive and most wouldn't book a one night stay.
Southern Breeze Lodge was perfect in every way, from the friendly ladies in the office to the clean room, comfortable beds, and convenience of having a gas station, GoBears
Grocery and Noble Roman's Pizza all within walking distance of the lodge! I recommended it to all my fellow birders and will definitely stay there again.”

”This is a beautiful property and we have stayed here once before.
Overall the staff was very nice and helpful. We were not happy with the check in procedure. The app says 3pm check in. Their actual check in is at 4 pm. As we waited patiently in the lobby for almost an hour we were a little surprised when a couple came in at 3:50 pm and were checked in. No acknowledgment that we were there first or any interaction until we made the effort to get checked in.
Even so , we highly recommend this...
