”Very friendly and helpful staff; food was good; the only downside was beyond their control: access to the car park was awkward because of scaffolding and the bus stop outside . Otherwise a lovely place to stay.”

The hotel is a little out of town, however the food in the hotel is excellent and has a wide choice, with a reasonable selection of vegetarian food, so no real requirement to go out. ”This property is exceptional, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, safe room, water provided every day, lovely staff, great food, we had beautiful breakfasts every morning of our 4 nights stay & dined in the restaurant 1 night, we had a room with a lovely view of the Severn, my only gripe is that the rooms are very warm, a fan was provided which helped a bit. ”
”Lovely hosts - friendly and helpful. Bright, airy and very clean. Comfy bed. Loved the flapjack in the fridge! It was a very hot petiod in July - so did need fan on all night - and they had thought to have it on before we arrived. Parking space was a real bonus! ”
”Stayed overnight whilst spending a few days fishing on the local river. A warm welcome on arrival and a nice little clean room with everything I needed (comfy bed, warm shower, tv etc). Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good value at £9.85. Beer was also very good and a great selection. Staff were really friendly and happy to have a natter. Look forward to returning next year!”
