”Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. ”

”Such a fantastic hotel, parking on site but small, there is a paid carpark right near by that is not expensive. The room has everything and more, beautiful furnishings. Lovely walk along the promenade. ”

”Lovely hosts and a very generous cooked breakfast with quality ingredients and big pot of tea plus lots of toast! Room was very spacious and comfortable with a balcony for warmer weather - lovely views to the other side. Decor is somewhat dated and bathroom could do with update but everything scrupulously clean, loads of hot water and everything very comfortable. Could not have asked for more.”

”The room was very clean and warm comfortable the only problem we had was the shower wasn’t hot but Luke warm it was late when we had are shower so couldn’t mention it and we were there for one night. In the morning when we had breakfast we did mention this issue. The staff member that looked after us for breakfast was lovely made sure we had everything the cooked breakfast was lovely her name was iessie she was amazing would differently come again this is our second visit in a year.. ”

”We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. ”
